Listen to the MOTD commentary for that incident. I've never heard anything like it, they were literally listing reasons that it's a red card before asking if it should be a red card.

We concurred that not is he 'off form' at present, he's actually quite shite. He's overweight, slow, and isn't linking play up at al, well. To think he's probably gonna be leading the line for England next year is just bizarre.

Finally, we discussed how Man Utd, a club who prided themselves on being run highly efficiently, signing generally only the better players and making them work for new contracts etc..have become the epitome of how not to run a football club. They must have probably the best paid manager in world football..who is a charlatan. They've paid a kings ransom for Martial, Memphys etc. And they are so short of options across the whole pitch. And, as you say, Rooney on his 300k per week is disgusting. I think that's an apt word.

Utd are a huge global phenomenon and how they are being organised at present is amateurish.

Spurs look a really tidy side this year. A good manager in Pochettino and they've got some real quality players. I personally wouldn't rule them out of the title race just as much as I wouldn't rule us out.

You look at Stoke's front four and it just smacks of quality. Even though we're ahead of them it's something we should aspire to. We're half way there with Vardy & Mahrez but just think how good we'd be if we signed our own Bojan & Arnautovic.
