Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 He's a good manager when put in charge of a club with less expectation hence why he's doing well at Stoke. QPR and Man City were big mistake for him. I'd argue there's more expectation at Stoke than there is / was at QPR, Wymse.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 I'd argue there's more expectation at Stoke than there is / was at QPR, Wymse. At the time though QPR were spending a lot of money on players that just didn't seem interested. And no I'm not Wymse
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 At the time though QPR were spending a lot of money on players that just didn't seem interested. And no I'm not Wymse Yeah Wymse but establishing QPR was his job there, where as getting Stoke up the table is his current gig. Much more expectation at an already established Premier League side than a newly promoted one, even if QPR were spending ridiculous money on absolute toss.
theessexfox Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Ranieri looks like Shevchenko, Mourinho looks like a villain.
Buzzell Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Bilic has been drinking too much cherry Tango by the looks of it.
Beliall Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Bournemouth sign Iturbe was going to post this, he's not available tomorrow, work permit. good for us
Grantham Fox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 How did Bournemouth attract Iturbe? From Porto to Roma for 30m euros I read? Then to Bournemouth at only 22. That's a really good signing for them.
ScouseFox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 barely had a look in at roma and been pretty rubbish when he did. great hype though cos he's good on fifa. file under granero/hoillett/taarabt and the rest at qpr, ramirez & ben arfa at hull and all that jazz. rather have joe dodoo.
ScouseFox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 18 goals in 126 games. Hardly prolific is he. 92 pace and 4* skill moves on fifa though so signing of the century
Soar Fox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 92 pace and 4* skill moves on fifa though so signing of the century He'll score about 2 goals for them, they'll get relegated, he will be sent back to Roma then we will never here of him again.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Perfect. Ineligible against us and he'll score winners against Arsenal, Man City and Spurs. IT'S. OUR. YEAR. (AGAIN).
ScouseFox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 remember when they signed atsu on loan and some thought it was a great deal. rinse and repeat. bin.
StanSP Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 He'll score about 2 goals for them, they'll get relegated, he will be sent back to Roma then we will never here of him again. he'll get injured before that.
Stadt Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Really if he was any good he a) wouldn't be leaving Roma because they're not really that good and b) if he just wanted game time he'd get a loan at a club that is 100 times bigger than Bournemouth and c) he looks like a willy puller
Vacamion Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 they'll get relegated The bottom 2 are pretty much gone. That leaves Bournemouth "competing" for the final slot with Newcastle, Norwich, Swansea and, at a pinch, West Brom, Southampton (if they don't buck their ideas up) and Chelsea (if they REALLY don't buck their ideas up). Whilst Bournemouth might lose today (fingers crossed), they have shown in recent weeks that they can pull off results and put in performances, so I think they'll stay up.

I don't see it that clear-cut yet. Aston Villa are the only one highly likely to get relegated, Sunderland could still perform a (modern-day) Sunderland and scrape by on one of the last matchdays, just like last season. Swansea look a bit deflated and may need some more time until they've found a suitable replacement for Monk plus the time required for the new manager to establish his formula. And suddenly, the Premier League would be Welsh-free once more in terms of teams.
Vacamion Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Sunderland have been pretty awful, despite big Sam's best efforts so far. If he keeps them up, it will be miracle work.
EnglishOxide Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Sunderland have been pretty awful, despite big Sam's best efforts so far. If he keeps them up, it will be miracle work. I thought Sunderland put in a great effort against Liverpool. If they keep up that attitude I wouldn't write them off just yet. A couple of signings to compliment Big Sam's style and they could get some good points.
LCFC1996 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 On Iturbe, turned down move to Watford because Bournemouth offered more money to him and Roma. Option to buy becomes obligatory if plays 10 games and scores 1.
Nalis Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I honesty think Big Sam will save Sunderland. Villa, Bournemouth and Swansea to go down for me.
Jimothy Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Liverpool's bench Bodgan, Toure, Brad Smith, Connor Randall, Allen, Lallana and Cameron Brannagan. Honestly think we've had better benches in the Championship.
