There was dozens of arrogant people criticizing my view last season when i said he wasn't good enough...I said last season that based on his performances in the championship and his lack of goals in open play, in addition to his performance when last in the prem, that he would struggle. Of course when i have been proven right i will give a little bit back, i got enough stick at the time for going against the majority on here.

Doesn't look fit, looks about as fast as Knockaert. His passing is dire, he can't beat anyone and his goal was a deflection almost bad enough to be an OG. Depay hasn't looked a great deal better and I only know Rooney is playing because the fans keep shouting his name.

He is a championship player, nothing wrong with that, but isn't what we need now. Okazaki looked streets ahead after just 90 mins.

We all said how poor the league was last season...but this year its even worse.....we are one of the only sides to strengthen.

Were we all saying how poor the league was last year? Struggling to understand how the league is poor and how we are one of the only teams to strengthen. In my opinion, a lot more high profile players are seeming to move to lower end Premier League teams increasing strength and the competitiveness of the league.

I disagreed with many of the critical views of players last season...most notably those criticising ulloa and schlupp.
