Soar Fox Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Jeff is no way near his full potential. If he ever reaches it, you're looking at a £100m player I really do hope this is sarcasm.
Unabomber Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Jeff is no way near his full potential. If he ever reaches it, you're looking at a £100m player y'all gon make me lose my mind, Schlupp in here, Schlupp in here.
Bamba's Babes Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Was anyone actually ever going to buy him? I have my doubts.
Dan Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 This is just so we can boost his value from £50mil to £80mil. Not quite the 15 year deal I wanted but 4 will do. I want more bizarre moments from him and more funny face expressions. Think he's come a long way in a year and I hope he keeps improving. He became a real asset towards the end.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 https://twitter.com/RobTannerMerc/status/615221831562305536Good news
foxfanazer Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Well in Jeff. Says a lot about the direction the club are going in that he hasn't had his head turned
dorsetboy Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Was anyone actually ever going to buy him? I have my doubts. apparentley nigel turned down a swap deal from real madrid of ronaldo and bale for our jeff .
Babylon Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Well in Jeff. Says a lot about the direction the club are going in that he hasn't had his head turned It's a win win for him, nice new fat wages... plus if a bid did come in the second he said he wanted to go we'd sell anyway.
shailen Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Confirmed on Sky Sports. He has signed a four year deal.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 It's a win win for him, nice new fat wages... plus if a bid did come in the second he said he wanted to go we'd sell anyway. Player power! Like Delph at Villa, "Yes I will take your fat pay rise, but I want a clause that says I can walk away if anyone decent comes in."
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Great News. When he plays on instinct he's nearly unplayable going forward and he rarely gets beaten for pace. His obvious weakness is the ball over the top and general positioning but you'd hope that Konchesky would be able to work with him on that.
les-tah Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 but just imagine if he had an end product shot after that 50 yard sprint with ball lol he would have 15 goals a season
FoxPride Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Just look at the fee for Depay. Double that for our Jeff as he is proven premier league quality. Find a better crosser and finisher in the English game? I highly doubt it.
Xen Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Find a better crosser and finisher in the English game? I highly doubt it. What. There are plenty of players far better than Jeff at each of those things. Albrighton, for one, is a much better crosser, and if you're seriously suggesting that Jeff is the best finisher in the league then I'll have some of what you're having! the word 'Deluded' springs to mind ... I'm not knocking Jeff - he's been fantastic for us this last season and he's got plenty of potential, but let's be realistic...
thpike Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Obviously he doesn't want to go to a higher profile team where he will, realistically, sit the bench for a large portion of the season. I think he realized he fit well with our team mentality and we got a big glimpse of that last season. Only up for him this season, and us as well.
AKCJ Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Just look at the fee for Depay. Double that for our Jeff as he is proven premier league quality. Find a better crosser and finisher in the English game? I highly doubt it. Calm down Jeff.
