Guest Col city fan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Everyone can see Jeff is shit at LB but decent at wing back. Very likeable player. You can't help yourself Una... Watch out for the next ban buddy...
Unabomber Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 You can't help yourself Una... Watch out for the next ban buddy... I said he is a very likeable player.
foxfanazer Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Let's have it right though, he's adapted to the prem a lot better than anybody would have thought. Been a very important player for us this season and not just because it meant Konchesky wasn't playing. Yes he has his limitations and can be frustrating at times but give him credit for what has been a solid opening season in the top flight for the lad

I see being a dad is making you more responsible...
foxfanazer Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Good lad! I see being a dad is making you more responsible... to be fair I'm not very critical of any of our players unless they have an attitude problem. I think our only real weak link is Konchesky now. Jeff to Arsenal is a little farfetched though
Steve Earle Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Let's have it right though, he's adapted to the prem a lot better than anybody would have thought. Been a very important player for us this season and not just because it meant Konchesky wasn't playing. Yes he has his limitations and can be frustrating at times but give him credit for what has been a solid opening season in the top flight for the lad He has (adapted) indeed. I'm not his biggest fan but: 1 give him credit - he had a better season than many, egs Drinky, Kingy, Knocky, and who'd have thought that likely back in August?; 2 fans of our opponents (those that I've spoken to) often speak of him with some awe (eg a WBA season ticket holder saying he terrorised their defence & was the difference between the 2 teams) He could still go either way (brilliant/ rubbish) but the odds on the right outcome are looking much better than a year ago, when it often looked like he'd never seen a ball before...
Guest MattP Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 The more I think about it if you keep Jeff away from his own goal, away from the opposition goal and away from the centre of the pitch he does ok. His pace will create corners, free kicks, throw ins etc
Guest Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 I've slagged him off many times but second half of the season his pace and direct running caused our opponents huge tactical headaches.
Happy Fox Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/leicester-wing-back-jeffrey-schlupp-sign-5965637 Leicester are set to announce Jeffrey Schlupp has signed new four-year deal. Wing-back Schlupp was one of the stars of Leicester’s Great Escape and retaining him will be a huge boost for boss Nigel Pearson. Schlupp’s form had made him a target for Arsenal, Aston Villa, Swansea and West Ham. Manchester United - who took Schlupp on trial in 2013 - are also understood to have enquired about the 22-year-old’s situation. But he has chosen to extend his stay at the King Power after talks with Leicester director of football Jon Rudkin - Schlupp’s former Foxes academy boss - who is believed to have played a huge part in securing the Ghana international’s signature.
Steven Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 For those of us, like me, who do not see the tweet. Rob Tanner @RobTannerMerc Some good news for #lcfc. Jeff Schlupp close to signing new 4 yr contract. Agreement imminent.
Ed25 Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Great news, nice long contract so if he really does step it up in the next season or so he would command a big fee
kingfox Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Get In! Jeff will be one of our best players next season, can see him improving consistency wise.
DeclanMC Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 G'wan Jeffrey! As sad as I was when Lloyd left us, he's filling that gap on the left side (and in my heart) admirably.
Collymore Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Jeff is no way near his full potential. If he ever reaches it, you're looking at a £100m player
benpicko Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Jeff is no way near his full potential. If he ever reaches it, you're looking at a £100m player Wait, I thought £50m was what he was going to be worth? It's been upped to £100m now? Better hold onto him and he'll be worth a billion before long
Callabinho Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 I think we need to discuss the long term financial implications this proposed deal may have on the club.
