If he thinks going to a managerless club is a good move good luck to him.

Sure a club with a manager that wants him has to be better or have I missed something and they have a manager?

Posted

If he's on a free then he's probably going to go to whoever pays him the most...

You think Watford could out do us on pay?

If they have god help them if they go down.

Doubt we would pay that much.

The Pozzos and their network tend to do the signings and the manager just gets what he is given to work with in the main.

Hasn't come from the most reliable of sources it has to be said but we'll see.

No, but they most likely felt the need to offer more, we need better than this anyway

James Milner us a great exampl of a utility player.

Or better still the young Jeffrey that everyone and his dog want (apart from some City supporters!!!)

5 years? No wonder we didn't fancy it!

Does seem a long one doesn't it!

Mind you the Pozzos give  that length of contract out (even to our youngsters)

Half suspect its so if it didn't work out here they can buy him for Udinese/Granada but hopefully it will!

Giving a 5 year contract was almost as stupid as giving Lloyd a 3 year one.

Why? We'll sell Dyer to Brum, and we paid, what was it? And if this fella doesn't work out for us, I'm sure he'll fit in at Granada or Udinese. or we sell. And we've paid, how much was it?
