foxoffderby Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Just his agent touting for one last move linking him to everyone. Take it with a pinch of salt.
Tuna Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 No team in their right mind would pay money for him. Yes his goalscoring record was very impressive last season, but at 32? and what has he been doing for the rest of his career? Just sloppy paper talk.
Bayfox Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Owner on record as saying strikers not priority. Paper links us with 32 yo championship player. Do these people do any homework?
Giggsy77 Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 No thanks, if we are serious about moving forward, then this would be a bad signing. I would sooner have someone younger.
Dan Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Credit to him for last season, but we can seriously do a lot better than this.
Corky Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 He scored 27 last season, 13 the year before, 11 in the two seasons before that and 14 in 124 for Sunderland. One great season, one decent, the rest are just mediocre.

Callabinho Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Lazy journalism for me, there will be a lot of this over the coming weeks.
katieakita Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Lazy journalism for me, there will be a lot of this over the coming weeks. Very lazy journalism, forget to link all the promoted teams the 3 relegated teams (all to replace leaving strikers, attach names) and those in finished in the bottom half of the premiership also could have thrown in a tenuous link.
Matt Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 He scored 27 last season, 13 the year before, 11 in the two seasons before that and 14 in 124 for Sunderland. One great season, one decent, the rest are just mediocre. #Peaking I never hashtag anything, ever.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 If he was younger I would say yes as I think he's a better option than Wood but at the Age of 32 he only has few years left so for 3million they can do one!
Stadt Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 i trust nigh so if were seriously after him aid support it but underwhelming but not every signing we make is going to be exciting
LCCFox96 Posted 23 June 2015 Posted 23 June 2015 Not interested in seeing Murphy here at all. As people say, 1 good season does not justify a big PL move, especially at his age. From Ipswich's point of view though, if they could get £3mil off anybody for a mediocre 32 year old striker they'd be mad not to take it!
