Top's decision

Even if they have got someone better in the pipeline to take the club forward (which I hope they have). The owners loose a lot of my respect by sacking him by phone call!! What ****ing worms

I thought there was a thread on here only a few days ago saying they were fantastic people and superb owners?

That particular tide has changed very quickly.

lol

Yea just like (myself included) was happy when news of Pearsons sacking in February, now I'm outraged!! Things do changem, that's life

Dude it's the mirror. They're just making it up. They've no more information than you or I.

What do you mean 'little choice'? What would've happened if they didn't?

I suspect little more than a bit of animosity which would likely have died down by the start of the season. Not really the sort of situation where the phrase 'no choice' really applies IMO.

As I mentioned perhaps the recent fallout in relations due to his son's sacking was the final straw after last years media fcukups.

The fact that it happened on the last day of football contracts now makes me think this isn't knee jerk.

Can't take a daily mirror article and then dislike theowners decision. There's going to be behind the doors stuff that we won't ever know.

There will be family tension with his sons antics. Maybe pearson thought the whole prossy situation wasn't a stackable Affence and was defending his son as parents do. All tho we all no what they did was wrong.

That nonsense you put about the owners sacking Soussa, getting sven etc. Both of them were utter shit and needed sacking.

Top would have made this decision with thorough thought and will have replacements in mind.

Everything they have done has been within best interest of our club.

I know its not the best time for jokes, but I can just imagine Pearsons face after that phone call.....

Remember when they sacked Sven, no end of people were gutted. That's been conveniently forgotten now, but it was a widely unpopular decision that proved spot on.

Mmmm a bit different of circumstances mate

If Pearson is ASTONISHED as the article claims, I don't buy this relationship nonsense. That wouldn't come out the blue, bullshit!

They've got somebody lined up

There was Leicester before Pearson and they'll be Leicester after Pearson, but I don't have confidence in them one bit

I think they know **** all, I think they've lost patience with Pearson pushing for continual, sustainable improvement and they want to go hell for leather in a rush for 5th spot

I don't think they'll have a clue who to appoint, they had their feet under the table when Pearson was forced out before in favour of Sousa

Sven too, appointed for his celebrity as much as anything

And then when he never even troubled a playoff position despite out spending the whole Football League combined, the only names they knew of were MoN and thankfully Pearson. 2 former mangers who were probably still on speed dial in the chairman's office.

I expect them to not look much beyond Lennon or a big-spending 'name'

This could go either way now and I don't mean survival or relegation as that was no different for Pearson... The Pearson difference was sustainability and an ability to do more, with less.

Fvck this situation the day before transfer window opens and preseason starts

Imagine being Huth, Fuchs or Schlupp

Wonder what Cambiasso will do now after he had a deal agreed according to a pretty reliable souce

We're in tatters before a ball is kicked because Pearson breeds incredible loyalty among his players

Still, Blue Army!!! :(

I think you're mis-remembering

It was pretty popular and a few weeks coming, only those who fell for the conman's scam were gutted

The point still stands. They sacked him when a lot of people thought they shouldn't and it turned out OK. They reappointed Pearson when a lot of people thought they shouldn't and that turned out OK. They showed faith in Pearson when a lot of people thought they shouldn't and that turned out OK too. Now they sacked him when a lot of people think they shouldn't, maybe this will turn out OK as well.

You're really comparing the 30% if that who wanted Sven to stay with the 95%+ who were looking forward to next season with Pearson in charge. OK

Top is a prize Twat and so are the other idiots.

You don't sack a manager that has got us to this position.

They have not got a clue about football.

What's next... Calling us the Leicester red foxes?

I don't give a **** what happened in Thailand.

Thailand has sluts...wow.

This will be the same as when Taylor came in... Watch us fall.... Thankyou schrivacluelesscutnsuky family.

The common theme there is that success came when Pearson was in charge. Now that he's gone maybe it won't turn out OK.

Football has to be the weirdest business in the world. As an owner you hand over 10s of millions of your money to someone else to spend. And you no say in how they spend it.

Think this could be one of the major contributing factors. Did Pearson sign Okazaki, or did the owners?

Considering Walsh did an interview saying they have been watching him for 2 years and wanted to sign him last summer and then again in January and how happy he was to finally get him, be surprised if this wasn't a Pearson/Walsh signing. Either that or Walsh is a very good actor!

The positive thing is that each time we sacked him we eventually brought him back. And each time we brought him back we improved.

Ergo, he'll come back next season, and the season after that we'll qualify for Champions League. Pretty tidy 5 year plan I reckon.
