davieG Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I can't disagree with that but what's the alternative? Let him join Villa whilst we end up with someone our scouts deem to be a poorer player? Hate the game not the player. Obviously while it exist I guess you have to use it but I think it should be a global ban that teams can't loan players to a team in their league.
Richmondfox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 He's played 18 mins of prem football, if we have him as back up he won't play much more than that. We need players that improve the team from the start and players like Hammond that come off the bench and use their experience to do the job that's asked. I'm guessing Chelsea will loan him out with a condition that he plays x amount of games, otherwise it would be pointless him going out. Loans? Huth? Hmm.......... Nick Powell. I'm not against loans when they are quality players out of favour i.e. Huth. The point is why should other clubs have to take a risk on unknown U21s who the big teams mop up as they show promise but have more pressing priorities than develop. We have to fight to stay in the league so why waste our playing time and resources developing a player that isn't ours. If we bought him that would be a different matter, he would be a great addition to the squad as he would be part our OUR future. Could Moore be molded into a DM role?
TOMBlcfc Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 He's more of a CB than a CM so could see him coming in as cover for the LCB role if we keep to the 3 at the back
RowlattsFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I love the different reactions to potentially signing this guy and Kante. Reality is we know little about either of them but one is seen as a must sign and the other is met with less enthusiasm.

The difference for me is Kante is a player who has experience playing regular football in a top league, hopefully better than what we have otherwise why sign him, and would be expected to come in and do a job from the start. Ake is an academy product with great potential needing to make his step up into regular first team football against men. They should send him to League 1/Championship to toughen him up.
dayday Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 EDS_Amy twitter reckons he will be allowed to join us on loan at the end of the week. Don't know how reliable she is,but she did say Ranieri was our number 1 choice.

dayday Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Said Cambiasso would * be announced last week too To be fair to her didn't we all!
GingerrrFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Dont' want him we can and must do better than this. Have you ever seen him play? I have. He's already twice the player Liam Moore is at centre back, plus he can play in the holding midfield role, any sane Leicester fan should want him in a heartbeat.
FireFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Said Cambiasso would * be announced last week tooShe said he'd be announced within the week. Still has until Tuesday? before being proved wrong.
Babylon Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Set for Watford Watford going for the record of most players ever signed in a single season.
sphericalfox Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Watford going for the record of most players ever signed in a single season. There's no chance surely of them gelling in time enough to get enough points to avoid relly gation? Have they not learned the lessons of others who attempted the same folly?

filbertstreet Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Gone Southampton That's Romeu unless they got this guy an all
john ridley Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Ah sorry , yeah got mixed up with the other chap when I saw it on SSN.

Means we'd have about 6/7 midfielders though but expect Behrami for example to be banned a few times!
