katieakita Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 When are the games being played against Lazio as we might see some intent from BL, they might be a top side in the German league but are the Premier league equivalent of Burnley last year
Danizen Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I was so excited by this, now I couldn't care less. That's a sign of how long and tedious this has been. I never normally give up on a signing until it's confirmed one way or another.
Guest Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 When are the games being played against Lazio as we might see some intent from BL, they might be a top side in the German league but are the Premier league equivalent of Burnley last year You honestly haven't got a clue have you?
Vlad the Fox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I think the saying is "sleeping with the fishes". Of course.
ARM1968 Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 No. He will come to the mighty foxes who will win the race by offering him an American fridge to sweeten the wheel.
Gerard Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I wonder about the line of thought in Bayer. Do they think Aranguiz is worth €15m? Will they pay €15m if that is the only way to get him at BL? Can they afford him without CL money? Aranguiz is half way through his season and properly match fit so they could even possibly try and get him in before the Lazio matches. I'll guess there would be movement today if that's the case?
sphericalfox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I just hope he's not stollen from right under our noses...
sdb Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I just hope he's not stollen from right under our noses... Not sure he's ever been right under our noses!
artursteppe Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I just hope he's not stollen from right under our noses... They've bitten off more than they can chew.
notnow john Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I just hope he's not stollen from right under our noses... Wurst case scenario
RedSoxUK Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Need a fake Brazilian ITK tweet to kickstart this thread.
dayday Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Did we not withdraw our offer yesterday? If not we need to,let's sign players who are happy to play for us,rather than have somebody who is not interested in the slightest.
Gerard Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Did we not withdraw our offer yesterday? If not we need to,let's sign players who are happy to play for us,rather than have somebody who is not interested in the slightest. We took "a step back". I would interpret that as we are still interested but we'll wait in the wings and see what happens with Internacional and Bayer Leverkusen. If they can't agree then we'll step up our interest again. I suspect we are working very closely with the Brazilian club and we have told them of our strategy. If BL don't offer €15m then the deal is dead and we step in again with our offer of €15m and Aranguiz's choice will be us or stay at an Internacional team that are making him unwelcome and trying to force him out the door.
Wymsey Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 He sounds quite ignorant and plays the 'you really expect me to go there' game.
filbertway Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 He sounds quite ignorant and plays the 'you really expect me to go there' game. Heard he's a massive Cluedo fan as well. Are you able to go one day without writing pointless soundbites that make no sense? You must be an in-training journalist.
Wymsey Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Maybe, but there's no correct way of posting (like you think there is).
ARM1968 Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 To be fair that sums up 90% of the posts on this thread. If we had a needle we could stitch it all together. With a steering wheel we may even have some direction. Anyway it's definitely Col Aranguiz, in the fridge with the needle.

I thought it was Professor Anderson in the village with the bullet...
Manc_Fox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Just read this thread from the start, what a friday night!
