To be fair that sums up 90% of the posts on this thread. If we had a needle we could stitch it all together. With a steering wheel we may even have some direction.

Anyway it's definitely Col Aranguiz, in the fridge with the needle.

The needle is in the bullet or Anderson Perry's arm though

His contract still has another 3 years left.

I know contracts like this, nowadays, means very little - but if he wants to move, he must be REALLY serious in wanting to join a particular club.

Did not know that. This is a Gally thread.

We could not get rid cos his wage.

This guy thinks he is better than us (fair enough good on him) he's not after money just glory.

Hope we are working on another target as this won't happen he seem's like he want's more than we can give right now and it is not money.

Don't really mind if we lose out for ambition let it go.

Or is he saying he don't want to come to us to force his club to pay him more to go?

Either way not sure I want him however good he may be.

Un proven in europe let it go.

if he doesn't want to come then fu*k him..................................next!

if its just options .."I prefer Germany but if not then premiership"....................................... then fab and keep plugging away

either way i applaud the clubs ambition..there is nothing embarrassing about trying to get the best possible players

True but if he is forcing there hand for money or he really wants BL should we still be chasing him.

In my mind NO he will have a bad attitude either way.

And how long will it take him to settle if he really don't want us or is just chasing ££££££££££ notes.

Contract length means very little - he'll be going this summer even if he doesn't get to go to Bayer; he's hitting what should be his prime, for the sake of his career he needs to move to Europe sharpish.

Leverkusen drawing Lazio is good for us. That's a losable tie. They'll lose some of their appeal if they're in the Europa League.

Leverkusen. The obligation of Charles Aránguiz remains a headache for Bayer 04 sporting director Rudi Voeller confirmed Friday that Leverkusen still has interest to oblige the Chileans.

"We try to get the player, but also our borders, what the economics concerns", said Voeller and made it clear:. "We have given a fair market offer when suddenly an English club is fabulous sums in the world that we should pay which is the wrong way. For this purpose, we are not prepared in Leverkusen. "

Leicester City is said to have offered 15 million, which is well above the range of Bayer 04. The clubs argue now about the release. Völler announced a further advance. Aránguiz itself has now asked for the floor and made abundantly clear that for him only one move to Leverkusen comes into question.

Is their manager the German equivalent of Shaun Dyche? Does he not know that we are the market leaders?

So he's upset that we have submitted a higher bid? This entire process has been awful.

They do realize we didn't originally bid 15 million, right? That was the price they set. We met it. No one else did.
