Honestly don't think he's that bad a player but I'm not sure we really need him. I think we'll be OK for forwards. Would take him if any of our forwards were content with being out of the 18 fairly often.

 

I'm struggling to see a way in for Kramaric or Ulloa at the minute, let alone Borini as well.

Yeah he's a good player and works hard when he's playing, seemed to have done alright playing consistently for Sunderland, enough to warrant a move away from Liverpool as he's not good enough there (though why buy Danny Ings when you can just play Borini.) Wouldn't be too upset if we got Borini in with a loan, but it's a bit pointless really. I don't think we're after a striker at all, this is clear bullshit - any 'i want Borini' comment from Ranieri just A) Wouldn't happen, and B) Would be laughed at and rebuked by David Mills / Steve Walsh - there's just no need for Borini. He doesn't show the class which Balotelli has, and is on way too much money for his current level of ability, the main and probably sole reason why he didn't want to take that 14m move to Sunderland last season.

Didn't you say Shinji was shit before you saw him play?  I am sure you will say but you have seen Borini play.  He is not the finished article and can play.  made the Italy squad.  He is a real player.

haha what? I was a lover of shinj from day 1. I said Benalouane looked dodgy though.
