We didn't need pre announcements for the announcement when other big players like Vardy, Kasper, Schlupp signed their new deals.

Agree with that, just gets people thinking we're announcing a signing and leads to them being disappointed when a new contract is actually announced. If it is Riyad though then its about time, he's not half earned it. Clubs gonna have to pay that big money if they want him now

Perhaps it suits both parties to come together again and with it being so close to the start of the season it was worth Leicester giving him another 10 or 20k a week?
