Who knows he could do a u turn but wouldn't that not do his credibility any good by refusing us and then changing his mind 3days before a new season !!??

He could sign a new 5 year contract and still leave in January. I get the feeling this will be an anti-climax but will get people regularly checking the new Twitter handle, which is what they want.

That means we have 48 hours left to get that done. Sure we could be trying hard and fail, but we could have done it maybe? If it is a new signing, Inler would probably be my bet based on this. If he has the kind of season I hope he's going to have then having him on a big money 4 year contract will be financially great news for the club, we will be able to command a figure that suits us if the big clubs come in and he wants to go.

Couldn't agree more, he has the potential to become a PL star this season and we don't want bids coming in when he has 12/18 months on his contract and not signing.
