One of NP' plus points was that he would get trouble-makers and prima-donna's out of the Club PFQ.  So I would find hard to believe that CR would reverse that ethos and set up a home here at the KP for over-paid and under-performing 'Head- cases' like Balotelli and Joey Frigging Barton.

If Balo didnt have any kind of ability why would he have been looked at by top clubs in Europe? Ibra was cast aside at Barca under Guardiola as he saw Messi as the focal point rather than Zlatan, doesnt make him a bad player does it? I agree Ibra always had quality, but he still did stupid things in his career which he admits himself, my point was that it took Ibra to move to Inter to really become the player he is now, working with the likes of Mourinho who clearly got the best of out him. Balotelli needs someone to get the best from him, who's own ego or reputation doesn't need further enhancing as a coach.

Balo's showings for Liverpool dont do him any justice and his personal incidents give him a bad reputation - I think we are quick to judge him because he is in the public eye and on stupid money, this lad came from being adopted and having nothing to the dizzy heights of professional football and more money than he could of ever dreamed of - he is still only 25 as well so it isnt as if his career is over!

A lot of negative people on this forum, how would any potential signings for the club be for the negative? from a footballing sense?

Agree. Like most things, many people just read what journos/"experts" say and accept it as truth without using their own eyes. MB has definitely had a bad press same as NP and CR.

Can't believe this will happen, but this from the Irish Independent: "The odds on Mario Balotelli joining fellow Italian Claudio Ranieri at Leicester City were slashed after the striker was spotted at the Foxes' Belvoir Drive training ground yesterday".

It's clear he has bags of ability, but unfortunately he doesn't appear to have the mental capacity to behave like an adult and focus on his game, if Mourinho can't handle him then no one can.

Can't abide this worship of all things Mourinho. How well did he handle the doctor saga this week?

Personally don't think he could handle someone with an ego as big as his. He'd probably play Messi at full-back, if he was his manager, just to show him who's boss.

we do not need one behind when we are playing 442. We have other players who can play that position should we go for that formation

But we do need one behind when playing with the formation we ended the season with and played the majority of pre-season with, so I don't get your point. We also played with only one up front against Sunderland, does that also mean now we only need 2 strikers and should bin off the rest, playing other positions there if necessary in other formations?

We'll regularly play 4-4-2 and 3-5-2 I should think, and need two attacking midfielders. If we don't get a backup for Mahrez, rather than another striker, Nugent should stay. Two players for each position in formations we'll regularly play, as you said.

Even if that was true, we shouldn't and won't make him that. Ranieri's not going to say that he understands the club and then make the laziest twat in football our main man over Vardy, Okazaki, etc

He's a player who needs monitoring all the time.

 

This might affect team morale, if he does come and acts like a prat.

Because I thought balotelli would be a great coup for us? Alright.
