Considering Ulloa has a goals per game ratio that dwarfs Balotelli's Alright then, I want to have David Nugent and Francis Jeffers for the England squad, because their goals per game ratio dwarfs that of Ulloa.

ScouseFox Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 You do realise that he isn't going to take a 100k a week paycut to join leicester city? i doubt he is on £150,000 in liverpool, and i doubt we will sign him. he is mostly reported to be on just over £100k, and was widely reported to be on over £150k at ac milan so has already taken a hefty paycut once so there's no reason why he wouldn't do it again to kickstart his career. nor is it beyond imagination (yours, maybe) that he could join on loan. but hey thanks for pointing everything out.

No, if you think Balotelli's arrival wouldn't push Ulloa down the pecking order you're living in cloud cuckoo land. Ulloa scoring 11 goals last season and Balotelli scoring 1 serves no aptitude to how they would perform this season.

Ranieri wants two players in each position. When Nugent goes we will have 4 strikers for 2 positions...you do the maths. Can admin just lock this thread. There is no point in it being open and it is just getting in the way of discussion regarding transfers which might actually happen And 1 player behind those front two in Mahrez? I hope we keep Nugent and play him there where he played so well last year when Mahrez is injured or woefully out of form.Would only sell him if he wants out. Good person to have in the dressing room by all accounts and is a safe bet behind the front two.

But as great a player as he might have been, would we be willing to take a chance on him? I rather doubt it personally. But for me it’s great that we could consider it a possibility. I really believe the club will progress and move forwards. Exciting times.

We have other players who can play that position should we go for that formation
