Bayfox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Am I right in thinking with nuge and konch now out the door effectively. Kasper is the only signing from svens spree left at the club?
Bayfox Posted 24 August 2015 Author Posted 24 August 2015 That's why I said effectively. Last year of his deal so he won't be coming back I guess.
sylofox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 And your point is? We all know Sven fvcked up out of 15 any of us could get one or two right.
fleckneymike Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Am I right in thinking with nuge and konch now out the door effectively. Kasper is the only signing from svens spree left at the club? Schlupp at LB was orignally a Sven move.

Fatty Arbuckle Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 And your point is? We all know Sven fvcked up out of 15 any of us could get one or two right. And what's your point? Surely the OP was just noting how much of a transformation the team and squad have gone through in the last 5 years.

EnderbyFox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Should've stuck with Chris Weale imo WHEEEEEEUL WHEEEEEEUL
Guest Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 And not a lot of people know that I can't be the only one thinking you deserve a +1 for that, surely?!
HitchinFox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 I can't be the only one thinking you deserve a +1 for that, surely?! You're not! Brilliant.
VLC86 Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 I can't be the only one thinking you deserve a +1 for that, surely?! Tough crowd!
seenitall Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Click bait for sure - am I right in thinking that in about ten games time most of the team will never have played under Pearson (Shinji, Kante, Fuchs, Inler, Benalouane, another last minute signing will be 6 = more than half a team) add Kasper Schlupp King who he didn't sign and it's almost like the last 5 years never happened....
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 John Pantsill works in one of he kiosks apparently Should've stuck with Chris Weale imo WHEEEEEEUL WHEEEEEEUL Forgotten about him. Made so many costly mistakes. And Ricardo was no better.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 it's been four years so that isn't incredibly surprising, I know Schlupp was in house but it was Sven who integrated him into the first team tbf so i do credit him for that.
Itsblueuptnorth Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Forgotten about him. Made so many costly mistakes. And Ricardo was no better. Weale was a good keeper, but he was a form player if ever there was one and couldn't take setbacks on the chin which is why he never did well under Sven, remember he played really well and kept a clean sheet think it was against Sheffiield United then Sven just swapped him for Ricardo against Derby. Weale needed a run of games where he didn't concede many and he never got that under Sven really without fearing for his place, which is why he went downhill
The Horse's Mouth Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 I seemed to remember Weale having probably his most impressive time as City keeper under Sven and then he went mental signed Kirkland for a week and then brought in Ricardo who really couldn't catch anything bless him
VLC86 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I seemed to remember Weale having probably his most impressive time as City keeper under Sven and then he went mental signed Kirkland for a week and then brought in Ricardo who really couldn't catch anything bless him Did this coincide with you taking a lot of drugs? Weale was absolute turd when Sven was here, his best spell was under Pearson.
Captain... Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Did this coincide with you taking a lot of drugs? Weale was absolute turd when Sven was here, his best spell was under Pearson. He had one phenomenal game, I think it was Shedfield United away, it was a true match winning performance. He then got dropped for Ricardo with Sven saying something like he likes to drop players after a good, if you drop them after a bad game they think it is because they played badly, or some such nonsense. Weale had been ok under Sven, not turd, but not amazing, he was better than Kirkland and Ricardo and didn't deserve to be binned off by Sven. Obviously a different story after we signed a clearly better keeper in Schmeichel.
Sampson Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Forgotten about him. Made so many costly mistakes. And Ricardo was no better. Weale didn't make that many costly mistakes. He made one big one against Forest everyone remembers but overall he was a decent keeper for us. He was one of our best players in our 09-10 play-off season. But he was sadly one of the players who Sousa completely ruined with his lack of fitness training and bizarre approach that seemed to think stamina and being able to last for 90 minutes didn't matter.
