Arsenal Match Thread

Lost for words as to how we're not at least going in level at half time.  Playing very well.  Both goals conceded are a result of how we're attacking, so it doesn't overly concern me.  Unfortunately we're up against a team as good as if not better than us at counter-attacking - there were always going to be goals today.

It wasn't one mistake you moron. It was plenty of big mistakes at this level over the course of the season. Which I pointed out, to back up my claim that I don't think he's good enough at this level.

Don't even bother to message me again, You didn't read the posts properly and jump to conclusions. Pathetic even lowering myself to go over it with you.

It's one mistake so far this season and only one I can think of since feb. Don't be a complete melt.

Superb match so far, very open at the back but we will be the amount of attacking we do. We can't have it both ways we aren't Barcelona.

Plenty more goals in this 3-3 I reckon

Five saves? Are we talking daisy cutters that he just picked up, because there's been nowhere near that many tests for him.

Near enough even, but we've been better. Two massively wrong calls has us 2-1 down rather than 2-1 up.

You're now basing an imaginary scoreline on an imaginary goal we did not score...

They took their chances, our defence was dodgy (as per) and we conceded...

Both their goals were good counter attacking goals, and if vardy had not taken his chance in the first place they still would have countered us...

clutching at straws...

Huge mistake from the ref, and he should be reviewed over it, but to say we would be winning if the ref had not made those mistakes is just ridiculous...

Considering the opposition the defence has been good. De leat has had a great game. When we are pushing so hard an playing high pressure we are always going to be exposed at the back.

If you take away their fouls. Then consider who we had back for their second goal. If Ritchie hadn't come across then it's a goal anyway. Who would have covered Ritchie on far? Mahrez or vardy, where was he? Committed to the attack we just had.

Don't like pinning blame for goals. But it certainly wasn't the cbs at fault.

Ha, good to see you know how to have a rational debate.

Well, the refs not none US any favours but I'm not going to make that an excuse. Pretty even, entertaining half

Teams definitely target our right side...Mahrez lacks defensive know how (despite whether he's a willing defender or not he doesn't understand the defensive side of the game), De Laet is poor and Huth is slow. Would be interesting to see which side has been defensively weaker, left or right?

We are unlucky to trail after 45.

As you expect, we've shown great spirit, but I don't think we'll win or get anything from this game (I'd love to be proved wrong).

Really pleased that we are mixing it with the likes of Arsenal, though.

As I said on the thread, one of many over his premier league career, mistakes that are just amateurish, his positioning is terrible more often than not.

We almost got put in the shit only 20 mins in when he tried to run it out of defence and passed it straight to arsenal and was 20 yards infront of his defence..

As i stated before, he's not good enough in my opinion and needs replacing long term.

I rationed my opinion over the course of the season (and if you look back you'll see i've been saying it since we got promoted)

We have committed too many forward when breaking which allows them too easy a counter

So much space between our lines - it's too easy

Can't see how CR can change it apart from going 3 at the back which we know he won't

Just need to prey for them to finish poorly scond half and us to get a late equaliser

You're not trying to have a rational debate, you're making accusations without even knowing the facts of what I did or did not say. So no right now i'm not prepared to have a rational debate, because you're being ridiculous.

Read reply to doctor then don't bother to message me.

De Laet is having a good game.

I would argue left side is weaker as it contains Schlupp. Whilst he is very quick physically, mentally he appears to be a bit slow.

Not at all, the second wouldn't have happened if the foul was given and put simply, when did we last miss a penalty?

Special mention for Drinkwater - absolutely bossing the midfield.

Maybe not bossing but certainly standing out. Good to see.

A bit more help in there and we could get something

Okazaki and vardy just being passed around - is there much point in two up top? May as well concede that ground up to the half way line

King warming up to come on at halftime.

Odd one that.

Okazaki off, change of shape? Thought he's played well. Think everyone has, oddly, with the ball. Just two sloppy goals conceded as ever.

Not sure I'd change formation really. Drinkwater or Kante knocked maybe?
