You think you'd get the same energy, closing down, the same ability to keep up with Vardy, if you played Ulloa or Kramaric up there. He's style is integral to how we set up our team at the start of games, that's why he starts.

cityfanlee23 Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I don't see why Shinji is ahead of Leo okazaki why won't you score I want to keep giving him a chance, but every week it's becoming more evident he's not the player that is going to get us goals, and if vardy loses his goalscoring form (thank good he's been so good) I'm not sure who else would score the goals apart from mahrez... If Vardy get's injured I'm seriously worried. Austin in January please.

The penalty seemed a bit soft but the way Vardy fell looked genuine Okazaki has put himself about, if he was 2" taller he might have had a couple. Simpson has got better as the game has progressed. All this pressing is going to tire us quicker than them we're going to need our subs.

Ulloa might get himself a goal or two more than him over the season but I bet we'd get more goals as a team with Shinji in it. Horses for courses. Norwich have hated our pressing and it's showing. Definitely not the time to take our feet off their necks.

It's alright keeping up with Vardy but he's not doing anything with it

I agree he's been good, But he really needs to add goals to his game. He could have 2 today atleast. If vardy or mahrez lose form where will goals come from? I'll keep giving him a chance, but there comes a point where he has to start scoring, we cannot rely on vardy all season.

Goals aren't everything, if you change to someone like Austin (hugely overrated), you risk changing our style of play, and having someone to take the chances means nothing if the chances don't come.
