ronnup Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 I think Oxlaide Chamberlin is a realistic target for someone. He is never going to play regularly and now must know that. The right bid would love him on, but are we the right club? Players aren't going to suddenly want to come because of our league position, there's more to it than that. Spurs or Chelsea more likely for him.

His response to not getting a game is to act out rather than show why he should be playing, we don't need him let alone someone disrespectful. We have players already on the bench putting the effort in in training waiting for their chance.

(can someone do this on my behalf?... please search YouTube for 'Sofiane Boufal Best Goals and Skills' the best video is 7mins and 15secs long). He plays for Lille who are mid-table in Ligue 1 and would be a great replacement if Riyad Mahrez was to leave in the summer and could possibly fill in for him in case of injury for the second half of the season. He has pace and skill and would cause a lot of PL defenders a nightmare. Could also play a number 10 Role just behind Vardy or on the opposite wing to Riyad - would be mad!! Please search him on YouTube 'Sofiane Boufal'. I hope our scouts have him in their sights.

TheSomersetFox Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 Think he'd be brilliant up top with Vardy tbf, decent at footy, works very hard and is still young. with Liverpool having Benteke, Firmino, Sturrudge and Origi as well as Ings as potential options up front he may be allowed to leave? cant see him being the one they let go though.

FoxyLurvin' Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 To add some depth to the squad, for the remainder of the season, I believe we would do well with the following 2 players:- Sofiane Boufal (Lille, League1) = Cover for Mahrez, No10 role and additional winger. Kevin Volland (Hoffenheim, Bundesliga) = Cover for Vardy, additional striker. £20m - £25m for the pair, me thinks. that's approx £15m for Volland and approx £10m for Boufal. As we are top of the league, at worst still in a CL spot come January, the price of players may be higher for us considering our lofty position - the pair may cost us a little more. If we cash in on both Vardy and Mahrez in the summer (for silly money) we could have ready replacements in the above 2! Could be a tidy bit of business right there :xmassmile:
