Stop getting ahead of yourself and thinking we are "big dogs". We are doing extremtly well but we are not like the bigger teams in term of signing players for x amount of pounds and with massively high wages. This.

It sends a message that we are serious title contenders even if it was unlikely to happen. Austin, who every other club has had a look at makes me feel there is possibly a medical issue. My point being we must make a statement that we are serious. If we piss about with a 12 million player we send a signal to other teams that we would be impressed with a 20million bid for our own core players. This wins my vote for stupidest post ever.

However if we get one of Austin or Milik I won't complain. Austin offers yet another option that we don't currently have in our strikers. He wouldn't get guaranteed football though.

Don't know why a lot of our fans would not want him 93 goals in 179 apps for Burnley and QPR. Thats an average of 18.6 goals per season, he will surely take that to 20 with the remainder of this one. Even if he scores 10 PL goals per season thats more than we are currently getting.

Legend fox Posted 21 December 2015 Posted 21 December 2015 I think we need a winger (cover and push the starters) Andros Townsend (cost 5-7 m not in favour) D Gray ( sure 5 m release clause) Would love to sign Montero Swansea A centre back ( Wez and Huth good Waslleski and yohan worry me) so again cover Steve caulker ( 8-9 million) Curtis Davies ( 4-7 million) A right back got to go with either as Simpson playing well but need better. K Naughton (3-5 m) K Trippier (5-6m) And last number 10 role. No idea. Think we are so close to being. yeah there going to be in Europe but not quite there yet so think if any thing happens it will do so late on.

( my opinion.) Townsend is a game changer if we are losing a game he can come off the bench a win it for us. With his pace and skill.

Ashley Williams turned down Liverpool on several occasion as he loves Swansea what makes you think he will leave for us? Also isn't Dyer out of contract in the summer? With Shane Long I think he's definitely worth a shot at the right price always rated him & always said I would like him here.
