Said it before and I'll say it again but I really don't get Catfish and the Bottlemen. The blandest band I've ever seen such hype about.

Said it before and I'll say it again but I really don't get Catfish and the Bottlemen. The blandest band I've ever seen such hype about.

 

I'm not big into them. Like they're alright.

 

Pisses me off when their fans (who are obviously really into them) compare them to the likes of Arctics, Libs, Strokes etc because they are bands that have done it consistently and had more than one good album.

 

Still excited for their album tomorrow though because The Balcony was good as a debut album.

Have to admit I've never heard anything catfish have done but there does seem a gluttony of 'indie' bands who have nothing to say Miquels comments make me think they're amongst that ever growing group.

Chance the Rapper's new album is great, as is Modern Baseball's.

 

Ellery Roberts from WU LYF bought out an album last month too under the band name LUH and that's very decent as well. Very different from start to finish.

 

Also this is superb, it's like a little throwback to early noughties Neptunes.

New Avalanches sounds disappointing but hopefully the album will be better

Finally got round to listening to The Ride now it's on spotify and really enjoying it.

Finally got around to listening to The Kills new album Ash & Ice. A solid 50 minutes.

Took a while to get used to the new voice but quite enjoyed it after a few listens.

Pretty excited for Mac Miller's new album. Banks & Steelz as well which is RZA and the Paul Banks from Interpol! 4 great tracks released from them so far.

As far as new bands I will be hoping for more releases from sheer mag

I've seen Public Access TV live, they're great - like circa waves but not as forgettable
