ImBlue Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Because goals are about the team unless you have an outstanding talent - which we don't - Okazaki is doing great work for the team just he's your Wellens at the moment. You slagged cambiasso off over and over, now defending the position of Okazaki within the XI?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Soton second goal offside is really clutching at straws. Defending is the reason this is the score, they'd only score again anyway i think. Mahrez and Deyr wooooo
Merging Cultures Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 We are even shorter now with Dyer on!!
Callabinho Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Why is Okazaki getting so much stick when he has been much more lively than Vardy and we're losing courtesy of shit defending and an offside goal that he played no part in? It's his wastefulness in the first half, he's been sloppy and keeps looking for fouls all of the time, one game he's brilliant the next he's pants.
Number 6 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 How many times does Okazaki have to be taken off at half time before we try starting with a different striker?
ImBlue Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Dyer and mahrez then we'll said whoever What's the point? Should have started. Too defensive
Ozwin Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Mahrez and Dyer Keenan and Kel awww here it goes.gif
Guest Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 You slagged cambiasso off over and over, now defending the position of Okazaki within the XI? Are you the guy slagging of CR when we're in the top half of the table?
lgfualol Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Schlupp for Dyer, Mahrez for Okazaki pls Thanks Ranieri!
what? Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 two goals up or not, Mahrez and Dyer on with fresh legs has got to be a bit daunting
EnglishOxide Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Good subs. He may have got the striker situation on the bench wrong, but he's always proactive in making changes.
MooseBreath Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Liveliness is no excuse for being wasteful and unfocused. Okazaki's poor run without a goal seems to continue. No idea why Ranieri is still including him in his starting XI. Don't think he was too wasteful or unfocused. He's off though, along with Schlupp who really was poor, so let's hope Vardy steps up
weller54 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Can we just try three at the back again? Nope!
Merging Cultures Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Vardy chasing everything Fuchs for a massive throw
Carl the Llama Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Vardy's a little terrorist. Amazing stuff.
Babylon Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Really have no clue what you're talking about... Yes I do, I'll say it again... you said we can't play two work horses. Look at the table, that's the end of it. Answer the question, If vardy goes on a drought who is going to score the goals? It's not Okazaki is it... If he goes on a goal drought we have other strikers to play in that position. We also have players that managed to score about 41 goals last year if you take off Vardy's. We've had players from all over the pitch score this year as well. Your points are two totally different things. 1) can we afford to play two work horses and 2) can we afford to play two strikers who aren't scoring. Nothing to do wig bugging myself up is it you fool, I haven't mentioned myself once. Was talking about our players, this looks to me like an attempt to blow your own trumpet to be honest. Really? "Just to add, God ripped to shreds when I said van dijk was top class 18 months ago, shame I wasn't wrong." Let's stick with a 442 and the same players forever then. Yeah, because I've said that haven't I. Arguably on evidence so far, keeping nugent would have us in a similar position without all the falling over. You mean Nugent the work horse. If you want to rely on vardy hitting 25 this year then fine, I think we should be looking to improve at all times, and I'm not sure Okazaki is the player to do that. There are ten other players on the pitch and seven substitutes FFS. The reality is, Vardy has been scoring. It's no coincidence that he's scoring more and getting more chances when he isn't playing as the support striker. Having someone else do a lot of the dirty work has freed him up to be the focal point. If he stops scoring then you look at changing it. But to say you can't do what we've actually been doing and doing successfully is just stupid.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 https://twitter.com/RobTannerMerc/status/655398009832873984 Southampton deserved the lead regardless
weller54 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Gayle off for Palace... Least he's not available for next week!
