Carl the Llama Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 So'ton easily the better team that half. Â Our play's been fairly haphazard so far.
MC Prussian Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Most crosses from wide are around those percentages. That's the nature of crosses, you can't expect passing type percentages. I should've simply stated that A LOT less crosses are finding their designated target today. We've been both without concentration going forward and shaky at the back.
PhillippaT Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Sorry - I had to go to the toilet, which meant they had to score again
justfoxes Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 No comeback today I'm afraid Who knows Mahrez on 2nd half then go for it !?
Babylon Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 No comeback today I'm afraidWe've created more from open play than they have if you ask me. Fairly even play other then with their bloody set pieces. Says everything that their scorers are defenders.
lgfualol Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 No comeback today I'm afraid  We looked shit vs Villa and Stoke and came back so I wouldn't rule it out.Â
ImBlue Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Don't waste Mahrez now. Save him for next week. The games over. Thanks CR.
Benji Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Still quietly confident we can get something from this. Â Dyer and Mahrez on and see what happens. Â Two crosses into the box have done us (still think the second is offside but stream won't show any replays), at least we're not being battered like Arsenal. Â EDIT, just seen it again. Â At least a yard off - what exactly are linesmen for if they can't spot an offside from a static corner routine?
EGBFitness Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Pretty poor half especially from corners. I blame De Laet.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Need to drop Okazaki from starting 11 tbh This. Good start to the season but has done F all since then. Ulloa has deserved a start for weeks now.
Ozwin Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Hoping our fitness pulls something out of the bag because they've been very comfortable this half. Haven't made them work for anything. Kante and Vardy haven't been at it at all like they usually are and Schlupp hasn't taken his man on nearly as much as normal. Mahrez will come on to change things up but no Ulloa has done us already. Their defenders are having a ball.
lgfualol Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Don't waste Mahrez now. Save him for next week. The games over. Thanks CR. Â How many more times do we come back from losing positions for people to realise it isn't over after 45 minutes. Stop being a baby.Â
The Horse's Mouth Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 I can see Kramz' confusion that's all i'll say
Matt Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 It sounds frustrating, we've had chances but undone by our poor defensive errors again (I mean again regards conceading before anyone assumes i'm moaning only because we're losing). Â Get a quick (Very quick) goal in the 2nd half and we're back in it but can't see a way back if we go into say the 60th minute still 2-0 down. Â Gotta sort this defence though!
dylanlegend Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Surely CR needs to stop banging on about taking the team for pizza and sort his tactics out to make us keep a clean sheet. Reverting back to 3-5-2 where we looks absolutely solid last year would be a good start...
Callabinho Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Okazaki is too inconsistent, I just don't think he's any good against physical defences, it's certainly a result that's been coming, I've been very worried about playing sides with competent attacks, our "open" style is an invitation for good attackers to flood forward, we could end up getting whacked against anyone with decent forward lines. Surely Ranieri is smart enough to know we can't play every game in the same way?
Jaspa Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Anyone able to pm me a decent stream? Got a beba that wont stop buffering
EnglishOxide Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Do our players look tired/lazy to anyone else? Looking a lot like the Spurs game. Southampton are sitting deep and we are playing away so we don't want to press forward too much otherwise Mane will expose our lack of pace on the counter. If Ulloa was on the pitch instead of Shinji we probably wouldn't have conceded.
jdean Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Dyer on for Albrighton, Mahrez on for Okazaki  We have come back from 2-0 down before, can do it again  losing 2-0 yes, played poor and still had chances, Vardy after 5 minutes shot over bar, Huth missed when should have at worst hit target, we will get opportunities to score. Problem is stopping them scoring when we can not defend at all.  Also, why the hell do we not have players on both posts from corners / free kicks around the box. Simple thing to do and will help prevent possibly both goals.Â
Kitchandro Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Taking 8 touches to play 5 yard passes is not helping. The tempo isn't good enough, Southampton are battling harder. Okazaki needs to get off the floor. Ridiculous we haven't got a striker on the bench to replace him. The goals are obviously horrible. Just basic defending but tbf the second is clearly offside. Need someone to lead and shake it up now. We need to work harder and up the tempo. Could do with a cambiasso. Get mahrez and dyer on.
The Guvnor Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Two set pieces ffs and  fine margins at this level, we have had our chances but not taken them, again leaving ourselves a mountain to climb in the second half, painful.
Heskey2011 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Perfect set up for the second half, right where we want them.
