I know we did a few last season but there was no commentary. Would be awesome if they had live streams for every under 21 and 18 game

gazzap Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 The new HD matchday live is awful. the commentary is awful with no kind of excitement in the voices to what is happening on the pitch. its like listening to a commentary in a morgue with no crowd noise and boring boring commentators. it is the only option unfortunately for me on away games or mid week home games as I cannot get down for kick off times mid week as I live in Yorkshire. I am a season ticket holder by the way before someone makes a comment. I don't know why they had to change it from Radio Leicester, far better and its good to still here on home match days during my journey down from Junction 28 M1 and back. the after match comments were part of the enjoyment of listening - now all we get is , game over bye and that's it. no manager and player interviews, no supporter calls after the games either. basically it is just pretty boring

You would've heard Claudio Ranieri first on Foxes Player last Wednesday after the Spurs league match, before Radio Leicester, if you'd been tuned in. And I don't think you'll have heard many post match player interviews on Radio Leicester over the past 13 months. It's still early days for the club doing this service, they're still finding their feet, but I suspect coverage next year is going to be bigger, longer and more detailed.

All the build up and reaction can be listened to online, it's just the actual game that you can't. I love outside of Leicestershire so usually listen to the build up on RL then switch to Player for the commentary.
