The new commentators are either too flat/dull or you have the Birch (legend..) interrupting him and commenting over him! He was shouting out 'great cross' over him. This now sounds like every other shiite local radio commentary where they are SO full of their team it's painful to listen to. And they never 'question' their own team's errors or admit the ref was right, actually. I know Stringer has his knockers and they invent problems & stuff on the monday phone in to 'discuss' live on-line, (asking their favourites to ring in) but he has a radio voice with enthusiasm and seems to find the right words for many a situation. Elliott is by far the best summariser they've had. I've been paying for lcfc player for many years now, living outside leicester, but their news is out of date, interviews predictable and there is little else but the match highlights -which is what i use it for. But i NEED the matchday commentary so what am i supposed to do?? I would def cancel if i could get that elsewhere.

Really piss poor for a club of our standing to supply such sub standard commentary. Must say though, the Birch repeatedly talking over him is hilarious!

Since the change for the last couple of games the commentary has been very dull\dreary. I don't quite understand why so many knock Ian Stringer. I really enjoy listening to his commentary. He really injects some enthusiasm into it and is really passionate about Leicester. The new setup is terrible, I almost turned it off the other night when Conrad Logan was on and almost carried on decorating in silence. The latest BBC radio podcast confirms what has happened. LCFC own the digital broadcasting rights and they have told BBC radio Leicester that they want to manage it themselves as part of a bigger change coming in 12 months’ time (I think when the Foxes player contract runs out). So LCFC have stopped using BBC radio Leicester and tried to create their own commentary team. Personally I hope the club does a u turn on this. Ex-players don’t necessarily make good commentators and I would much prefer to be listening to Ian Stringer on a Saturday afternoon. I know this decision isn’t down to Foxes player (FL Interactive Limited) but I will not renew this subscription in the future as I only really use it for the commentary and it’s now terrible.

Brilliant vid that. Highlights were seeing Albrighton celebrate his second assist with Drinky, and a better angle of Vardy taunting that WBA cu*t during his celebration.

If a crappy MOTD 5 mins then no. last one was 10 minutes plus a 3 minute "leicester goals at every angle" video, it's alright some good videos the commentary is wank though

They even have a 24/7 English Premier Leugue channel just dedicted to football, showing old games, live games and every game over the course of the week. It was here I would subscribe to that.
