Crazy Stat Time!

With half the season played we sit 2nd in the table as one of only 3 teams in the league with a positive goal difference in the double figures.   Arsenal are on -3.

Staggering for me how few teams are on double-figured +GD.

Glad we're one of them!

Possible crazy stat today:

IF Vardy scores today he’ll be in an exclusive (Premier League) Club of 6 players to have scored 30 goals in a calendar year!

So the group as it stands is 6 but vardy could make it 7

No, the group is six players, but the feat has been achieved 7 times (Shearer twice).

After 20 games, Watford still have 2 goals fewer than Jamie Vardy, who has played one game less.

Shows how bad it was before today, they bagged 3 and he's had the day off.

OP said club of 6, not the number of times feat has been achieved.

Therefore, Vardy would have been 7th club member.

How many managers have we 'got sacked' since we came up then? Off the top of my head it was Mourinho and Monk in 2015/16 and Pellegrini today... I'm sure there's more.

Silva at Watford.

Didn't Martinez leave Everton after we beat them on the last day of the title winning season?

Bit of a random one.

Leicester became only the sixth team in Premier League history to make nine or more alterations to their starting lineup in a match before the turn of the year.

Nearly as many as we've sacked then.
