THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best defender in the prem

Best defender in europe

Best defender in the world

What a beautiful moment that was when he scored, he deserves it more than anyone else!. our club changed forever the day he walked through the door back in 2012, no doubt about it. Morgan = greatest 18 months on any captain in football history, wins the Championship, then does the greatest escape from relegation in football history, then is gonna go to win the Premiership. just amazing.. always the best rise to the top!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3

alright mate, why dont you just change your name to

He's been nothing short of sensational all season, driving on everybody and marshalling the defence brilliantly. Clearly a contender for player of the season.

When you also think he hasn't had a break from football for 2.5 Years now. truly magnificent.

Get rid of him when we got promoted? LMAO..  he was the main reason we got promoted. so daft, you must have been drunk.

Not really mate, just didn't think he could make the step up. Like I said he proved me wrong.

Morgan was superb today, even Harry Redknap thinks so in the Telegraph, so much so he thinks he should have a call up to England !! PMSL ......he's Jamaican

"But if Kane is important for Tottenham then Wes Morgan is doubly so for Leicester. He was immense, as he has been all season, and I think he is very unlucky not to have got an England cap by now."

Great to see him playing so well this season. I watched every game last season and always thought that some of the criticism he received here was way over the top.

In those dark mid season days it always seemed to me that he had to do so much, put in so many blocks, that inevitably some ended up in our net, not to mention the crazy reffing that awarded a penalty against him for a ball striking him in the face.

Would like it to happen for Wes particularly.

I'm from Nottingham and my old man has known Wes's Mum and Wes himself since he was a kid. He's a genuinely top guy.

**** me though - i'm hardly sleeping at the moment so i can't bear to think about him holding the trophy!

Good read.

This part of the article: "On the training field he focuses a lot on our shape. He’s very good at working on tactics and the specifics of how we’re going to approach each game and different opposition. He has us very organised. We all know our roles."

I've mentioned before on here quite a few times on how organised we look in terms of tactical awareness, players knowing their roles and also the shape. The defence is a prime example of this.

Feel so guilty about my thoughts and words about wes when we signed him from forest. I was far from impressed, but really warmed to him over the last 3 seasons. He has been phenomenal this season, his partnership with huth has excelled and on the back of two summer tournaments im gassed about the guys fitness too.

I feel the need to confess and apologise to big Wes. Last season I gave him plenty of stick in the 'Calamity Morgan' thread for constantly slipping on his arse and for having a Forest tattoo. I even questioned his role as captain and didn't think he was up to it. So I'm delighted to be proved wrong and honestly can't think of a City player past or present where I've seen such a transformation in 12/18 months. I still wince on occasion when he's on the ball and attempts a pass, but his tackling, blocking, awareness and strength are to behold. A real 'throw back' and a proper old skool defender. Good for him and I can't wait to see him lift the PL trophy.

Not sure if I believe this Ranierism.

Wes Morgan is Baloo off the Jungle Book. He is a big gentle bear who looks after all the lads. He does not speak so much but when he does speak, everybody listens. He is the perfect captain. I never knew anything about him before I came here. But I watched all the matches, I watched how solid, strong and intelligent he was.
