Koke Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Muzzy Izzet - 33 Emile Heskey - 33 Tony Cottee - 27 Matt Elliot - 22 Jamie Vardy - 20 Ian Marshall - 18 Riyad Mahrez - 17 Paul Dickov - 15 Les Ferdinand - 12 Steve Claridge - 12 Leonardo Ulloa - 12 Ade Akinbiyi - 11 James Scrowcroft - 10 Vardy is pretty impressive as he has only been in the PL for 18 months whereas Heskey played in the Prem for us for 4 years and Izzet for 7 years (though he was a midfielder). http://www.11v11.com/teams/leicester-city/tab/stats/option/scorers
Bluetintedspecs Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 That Emule was a bit of a donkey On a serious note Vards could feasibly be on 28 to 30 by the end of this season!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 I thought Ulloa did really well last season considering it was his first time in the Premier League. Adapted well and scored 11 goals in his first season, decent.
foxes21 Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 ULLOA WAS SHIT LAST SEASON APART FROM HIS GOALS. FOR HALF THE SEASON IT WAS LIKE PLAYING WITH 10 MEN! WE MAY ASWELL HAVE RE-SIGNED YAKUBU
ThaiFox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Elliott's tally is pretty impressive too! Elliott was great at set pieces, as was Steve Walsh. It's the most annoying thing about Morgan & Huth. Neither score anywhere near enough, if at all. At times, I honestly wonder why Morgan goes up. Even if he gets a clear shot or header it's usually well off target. Huth is little better. If only we had another Elliott type who could chip in with 8-12 goals a season. It takes so much pressure off our strikers and puts fear into oppositions when we get corners or set pieces.
Fox42 Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 But WTF has happened to Ulloa this season?Different tactics. Can't keep up with play this season.
Aberdeenfox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Ian marshall i used to love him overweight scruffy smoked unfit curly hair dodgy eyes but mon got the best out of him

Morgan seems to get more chances from set pieces, Huth doesn't seem to get on the end of them very often let alone score whereas Morgan tends to miss quite often
lestajigs Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Elliott's tally is pretty impressive too! I remember him being stuck up front a few times WHAT A PLAYER

Ha ha I think you will struggle to find a CB to score 8-12 a season! Elliott never did that! Walsh did when he was upfront but in the second flight
Benguin Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 If we have Mahrez next season as well he could top the list
Vardinio'sCat Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Ian marshall i used to love him overweight scruffy smoked unfit curly hair dodgy eyes but mon got the best out of him That goal against Atletico was priceless. I'm still laughin just thinking about it.
kingcarr21 Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 That goal against Atletico was priceless. I'm still laughin just thinking about it. Was that the goal that the tv cameras never captured it as they were showing a replay of another incident?
ThaiFox Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Ha ha I think you will struggle to find a CB to score 8-12 a season! Elliott never did that! Walsh did when he was upfront but in the second flight I agree it would be very difficult for a CB to score 8-12 a season, (Elliott scored 7 in one season and 6 in another though) but it is so frustrating our CB's are so poor. neither have scored this season, and from memory they got 3 between them last season. It costs us, especially if our strikers are marked out of the game, or are off form. Set pieces are vital nowadays and Morgan's miss against Bournmouth was embarrassing and cost us as much as the penalty miss, but at least Mahrez didn't miss the goal from his penalty, whereas Morgan managed to clear the crossbar from a yard.
FireFox Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 I bet De Laet would score a couple more from corners this season if starting.
Mainlander Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Never mind the centre backs, as great as they have been Drinkwater and Kante have one goal between them. Drinkwater who had a decent record in the championship is still to get off the mark in the Premier League. We seriously lack a threat from centre midfield in front of goal.
