Tuna Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 So the Daily Mail has us to finish 4th in their predicted final table behinf Spurs and ahead of United by a point. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3404687/The-Premier-League-crown-grabs-Arsenal-Manchester-United-City-Tottenham-Leicester-Sportsmail-predicts-ll-celebrating-title-success.html Here is what they have on us: January 23 – Stoke City (H) - WIN February 2 – Liverpool (H) - DRAW February 6 – Manchester City (A) - DEFEAT February 13 – Arsenal (A) - DEFEAT February 27 – Norwich City (H) - WIN March 1 – West Bromwich Albion (H) - WIN March 5 – Watford (A) - DRAW March 12 – Newcastle United (H) - WIN March 19 – Crystal Palace (A) - DRAW April 2 – Southampton (H) - WIN April 9 – Sunderland (A) - DRAW April 16 – West Ham (H) - DRAW April 23 – Swansea City (H) - WIN April 30 – Manchester United (A) - DEFEAT May 7 – Everton (H) - WIN May 15 – Chelsea (A) – DRAW +27 = 71 POINTS (4TH) OK, they’re eight points short of Ranieri’s target, but what a season finishing fourth would mark for Leicester just two years after their promotion from the Championship. Vardy and Mahrez have dropped off the boil a little and the Foxes squad is not quite that of the more established top-table diners. Nevertheless, Europe beckons for next season and the rare riches that Champions League football bring should be headed for the Midlands. A draw at Stamford Bridge on the final day edges out their rivals for fourth. .
FoxFossil Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 What price a three way tie for top spot? Arsenal, ManCity and Foxes.
ramboacdc Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 defeat at old trafford would mean man u would have to score a goal at home....ergo...this is bullshit!
Dan Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 To be honest I think those predictions are quite fair although I've got a sneaky feeling we won't lose both Arsenal and Man City. Watch us come 4th and run into Galatasaray or someone in the play-off.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Need 3rd place if we want group phase CL imo. Can't see us bedding in new signings in time for qualifiers.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Winning the title would be incredible, but to see Leicester in the top 4 itself would still make me very happy.

ScouseFox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 if we do go into the qualifiers wouldn't we be one of the lower ones so a big team is more than likely? yes we'd probably get fu cked in a qualifier. but still, it'd be fun. from those predictions, i'd be absolutely gutted if we didn't win any of west ham (h), sunderland (a) & palace (a).
Fox92 Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 No reason why we can't win every home game now. If we don't win the league, and I don't think we will, I hope Arsenal win it.
Kilworthfox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Although I have seen worse offenders than this article, once again we are predicted a drop in form. It has made me wonder for months...How bad do Liverpool, Manchester United, Everton, and Chelsea have to become, before an "expert" pundit can say that Leicester will finish in the top 4? Even with a drop in form with this article, we just sneak in.
ozleicester Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 defeat at old trafford would mean man u would have to score a goal at home....ergo...this is bullshit! Own goal?
Soar Fox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 If them predictions are correct, we would have gone through the whole season with just 5 defeats. Not bad at all for a club like Leicester.
lgfualol Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Only 5 defeats for a whole season would be ****ing great
AyewJoking Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 defeat at old trafford would mean man u would have to score a goal at home....ergo...this is bullshit! Step forward Wes Morgan. Been a while since his last og
001merp Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 defeat at old trafford would mean man u would have to score a goal at home....ergo...this is bullshit! I don't think I've ever seen Latin followed by an expletive before. Well played.
Kilworthfox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 I can't see LCFC outside the top 3, the other clubs are too inconsistent, or are just Shiite. Arsenal Man City Leicester Tottenham ----------------- Every other team aren't good enough.
AyewJoking Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 im just gonna put it out there........... I'd be happy with 3rd excited with 4th whilst appreciating the complete madness of a 6th, 7th, 8th finish I would still feel disappointed at the end of the season (given where we are now)

Don't have us down to win a single away game despite the fact we have the best away record Still, probably a better set of results than lawro has us down for.. and an unbelievable achievement for us if it did happen
brigfox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 I don't think I've ever seen Latin followed by an expletive before. Well played. mehercule! testiculos, precatule, ffs
FoxFossil Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 mehercule! testiculos, precatule, ffs Surely Italian in honour of Don Renieri - need to get our practice in for the tour of Europe. Le volpi sono i campioni
goose2010 Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 it is such a hard season to predict this season, we aren't exactly on the best of runs currently but are still joint top, people might think 'the bubble is bursting' even if it is we are still top. People talk about how tough our games are coming up. Arsenal's next run is just as tough Chelsea (h) Southampton (h) Bournemouth (a) Us (H) Barcelona (H) Man Utd (A) its a tough run and you could see them struggling in a few of them games.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Don't have us down to win a single away game despite the fact we have the best away record Still, probably a better set of results than lawro has us down for.. and an unbelievable achievement for us if it did happen True, but we're down for maximum points against Stoke, Saints, West Ham and Everton at home, which seems a bit ambitious (albeit I'd give us more of a chance against Man U and Arsenal). Overall I think it's pretty fair, although I fancy us to finish ahead of Spurs...
