Are you his mum?

If I was he'd be signing for Leicester tomorrow or it would be straight to his room with no dinner as soon as he came back from training.  :)

Hallelujah!!

I was beginning to seriously doubt whether we were after one, which would be pure craziness.

I just hope we aim big and go for a TOP striker and spend whatever it takes, even if it is for a loan deal.

We are a great proposition, even for a top player on loan, as they know they are coming to a team joint top, who play attacking, exciting football.

Remy would be my choice 100%. Knows the league, potentially available if Chelsea sign Pato and Chelsea won't get anywhere near us, so they might be quite happy to help us out on this occassion.

Remy is fast, good finisher and works hard. He has played for Newcastle and QPR, so obviously not got an ego either  :D

SIGN HIM UP CLAUDIO!!

Hopefully Remy. It's too much of a risk to sign someone from overseas and expect them to settle straight away hardly ever happened. Remy scores goal, we need someone else who can score and hit the ground running. Perfect signing on a loan

As soon as I saw this I was very pleased. I mentioned it in one of the other threads, but what came apparent to me is when we play cup games or any games in fact where Ulloa is on his own up front, I feel he needs another striker to play alongside him. Okazaki and Vardy are the two obvious choices but for when they need to preserve their energies for other games, that's when we need to play a new striker in my opinion.

Not only that but in general it will be good to have another striking option if we do manage to bring a forward to the club.

In all honesty I'd take Shane Long

No-nonsense striker who can score a goal or two

Hard worker too

Is he available?  I rate him too. Would suit our style of play anyway

I'm not sure, but the arrival of Austin at Southampton wouldn't help his cause!

Plus you're right, he'd suit our style to a tee

Remy would be a superb signing in my view. He's looks quality from what I've seen of him and looks like the type of signing we need.

90% sure it will be Shane Long

I really rate him - any reasons why you think it will be? Heard Liverpool had an offer rejected recently - which could be ofcourse be rubbish as it came from a Liverpool fan at work.

Either I've missed them, very possible, but I've seen next to no itk info during this window. Have the club gotten good at keeping radio silence or the whistler at the club has been blown.

I'm all for a striker that'll support what we've got, not be the be-all-end-all.

...Hope not.

Should be aiming ALOT higher than him!

Aiming a lot higher than a Vardy clone with a consistent goal scoring record in the prem? Who are you hoping for, Benzema?

Liverpool and Spurs apparently interested, but he would start alongside Vardy with us, whereas would barely get a game for those two. Not as though we can't offer him good wages too.

He isn't prolific, I read he scores about 8-10 a season on average, but he is same age as Vardy and is fast, works incredibly hard and could see him slotting into our style with ease.

Would prefer Remy but Long on a permanent would be a good option.

Amartey and Gray known about pretty much months before we signed them. You been kipping?

Indakiller or whatever his name is, has suggested it on Twitter, so can't see that happening, as the person is as much in the know, as I am
