Not posted on here for years (hence very old profile pic of Milan Mandaric lol).

 

Anyway, BENTEKE anyone?

1.  Not preferred by Klopp, plus they seem to be signing a striker at the moment so we will be a £30m surplus striker

2.  Ulloa is awful and Benteke would pretty much be an Ulloa that can run, head, has skill and can score

3.  He is low on confidence at Liverpool, come here give him a run of games, put more pressure on Vardy can only be good.

4.  Bid £20m sure Liverpool would take that considering.  Sell Ulloa for £5m, sell Kram for £5m, there you have Benteke for £10m outlay.

There's always Frank Sheard if he's still around.

Might have lost a yard of pace since I last signed him 40 years back but it shouldn't matter.

The bloke's a natural.

Never ran much even when he was a kid but still scored 20 goals a season off his arse and his elbows.

Trained on a pint and a fag but anything in the box just bounced off him and ended in the net.

Lovely bloke. Married the penalty spot in the end, cos they were always so close! :D

I listen to Talksport a fair bit; Liverpool aren't bothered with Benteke.  You've got to realise that if we are seriously going to make the Top 4 we need top players.  When you analyse it, he will be surplus to requirements at a club barely qualifying for the Europa League.  Chance of playing regular CL footy with us...

Hopefully it's a WOW moment.

 

I'm going for Breel Embolo more in hope than anything else. It will continue our January theme of bringing in top notch young players and Embolo can play as a No 9, No10 or attacking MF.

Arkadiuz Milik I reckon. Claudio did say another "attacking option" before adding "striker". Could be a wide forward/#10 - potentially Carillo.

 

I had a dream we signed Andre Carillo, Arkadiuz Milik, Daniel Amartey and Aleksander Dragovic last night. It was a good wet dream.

Oh I am not saying I wouldn't have him here. I think he is a quality striker but he is out of our reach and Klopp recently said he has a future with Liverpool and there is no way they would sell him for under 30 million in this window. He could move in the summer but he will most likely go to a bigger club than ours, perhaps abroad.

 

I understand we are joint top, but that doesn't mean we are automatically going to be able to sign players like this unfortunately. I'm all for dreaming big but I am also realistic and this will not happen.

REMY 100% for me but not sure Hiddink will allow him to leave in this window. Not like they need to save money or care about keeping players happy. They would probably prefer him to sit on the bench with them until the summer, than risk not having enough striking options in their relegation battle.

 

Long is a no go after just hearing Koeman on SSN.

 

Milik or Aboubakar seem like good options from abroad.

 

No thanks to Puncheon. Goal scoring record is terrible. 

 

We need a goal scorer above anything else.

Very, very long shot but what about Dzeko? Been struggling a bit at Roma goal wise but their wingers have something like 2 assists between them. And something like 10 goals each so probably not ideal for any striker
