MC Prussian Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I always wondered why it is that some people can afford to go to the club shop on a regular working day like today. Hopefully, there'll be a medium left for me tomorrow. But knowing how fast this size has sold in previous years, I'm not going to expect too much.
blurryface Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 im sneaking out on my dinner break to try and pick up a medium, I work right opposite the stadium so I'm going to keep an eye on the queue, im holding out for nothing but if they do have one even better, fair play to anyone skipping work for it
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 From what I hear the queue is mental. Gonna try this afternoon when I've got time. I can understand why they didn't have enough for this season because we had no idea the demand would increase so heavily, but if they don't order enough of the new kit then whoever is in charge of the shop has made a right balls up.

Voll Blau Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 New kit's OK, less gold on it which is good. Bit saddened by the fact the ribbons won't be blue and white tomorrow though. People getting slated on this thread are right to try and stand up our traditional secondary colour.

blurryface Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 i finish work at 1. is it worth the drive or is the queue riddiculous? may be worth it then, im hoping on my dinner break at half 1 its died down, I just had a look at about 10 and the queue is down by the away end going towards L1 - I didn't see where it ended so it could be anywhere, I think it's probably an hour and a half venture whatever time you go
ronnup Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Phone lines jammed up too. No phone orders and he said the queues were still mental
daveangel1979 Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Queue still around L1. Not really getting only longer though
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Like this new kit very much. Proper smart. I like the collar in particular.
Buzzell Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Just been down to the ground. Unless you've got all day to sit and queue up I wouldn't bother. Queuing near enough half way round the ground.
Houdini Logic Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I have a couple of hours spare so I just popped down... I didn't even bother getting in the queue! It's part way down the east stand now and at the rate it's moving it will take a LONG time. For anyone wanting scarves or flags there are plenty of unofficial sellers down here
lgfualol Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 80,000 is **** all. We could sell that this Summer with all this #hype.
blurryface Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 im going to queue up around 11:30/12ish, I don't mind finishing late today if I get my hand on one, it'll be worth it.
Jace Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 80,000 is **** all. We could sell that this Summer with all this #hype. Yeah won't be enough especially when many of them will be too big and loads will be wasted through bad printing, I sent back both my home and away 1 this season 1 had the name printed lop sided and the other had the Prem badges ironed on with the sleeve folded up underneath it
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Just got back, it's rammed down there, letting 20 in at a time. Got there at 8am, time i got out at 10 they were still queuing around the stadium. Atleast they are organised!
NZ_Foxile Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 My brother has been down to get us shirts, had to turn around give up as nowhere to park the car and the queue is all the way round the stadium apparently. Hope there are some left tomorrow :-(

FrankieADZ Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Can you sack an entire club? You mean like wind the club up? That would be a very nihilistic thing to do - win the Premier League and then call it quits on the back of an inefficiency in the club's merchandise supply chain. I guess you've not dealt with them then yes lets wind up the club we can end it all on a hight
zak_lcfc Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 If anyone is there and can pick me one up I can come collect it at 2ish, stuck in an exam until then and was hoping there'd be some mediums left
Buzzell Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 How is the stock holding up, are they doing printing and is there a limit per customer? There doing printing. From what I could see there printing the shirts outside the club shop.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 How is the stock holding up, are they doing printing and is there a limit per customer? as you que they take the ones on hangers off you, replace them with ones in plastic bag/covers. Most inc myself were buying multiples, one family from Thailand had 30+ shirts. Whole shop restocked with flags, scarfs etc If figures of 80k are true it should be ok, if they have 20k I would be surprised if it lasts till monday. If people are going down park away from stadium and walk in.
