Manager performance should never have been that low.

Had we earnt a point then he'd have got 8s and 9s. He can't affect players decision making but he set us up perfectly.

2 things that stand out:

1) When we win or draw, we tend to give the opposition low marks - almost as if we think that the opposition played a part in our victory, rather than the fact that we were the better - as evidenced by the fact that a 6.26 for the Gunners is the 3rd (!?) highest opposition rating of the season.

2) We universally seem to be giving our players high marks, because 6.65 for ourselves is our 21st highest rating of the season...seems like we have a very high opinion of ourselves.

Fourth worst team performance of the season?

Some extremely harsh ratings there!! the one two that are right are Kante being the best and the Ref being the worst of the season! who on earth still wants CR out?!?!

I can't even remember Andy King playing lol

It's that our fourth worst performance, then it shows how good we've been this season. Arsenal at home needed us to drop to 10 men and give away a last minute freekick to get the win.

I think some of the usual people must have been too disconsolate to vote, because they're the first set of ratings which seem a bit odd to me. I thought Gray did fine when he came on, and - while I'm far from outraged by the Simpson red - I felt he'd been excellent up to that point and, working on the principle that his red was justified, there should have also been a red for an Arsenal player if the letter of the law were being rigorously upheld. Which wasn't the case in that game, except for a 5-10 minute period.

And, while Mahrez and Okazaki weren't especially effective, neither were they as poor as this implies.

Plus, and I hate to say it, but while the refereeing was poor and - on balance - didn't favour us, he definitely wasn't the worst ref I'd seen this season!

That game was about the best I've seen Kante play for us. Certainly my MOTM. Having said that, he's excellent every game.

I thought Kasper did very well too though so I agree with those two ratings in particular.

the first eleven chooses itself and he got all three subs completely wrong. Think I gave him a 4 and thought that was being kind. He didn't do anything right.

not really a surprise, we've only lost two other games and even most our draws were deemed a great success because we kept giving everyone a 2-0 head start. I'd say 4th worst was about right. bournemouth (a), liverpool (a) and villa (a) probably the only worse ones I can think of.

Albrighton didn't deserve to be that low down... Thought he did well....

The team defended for their lives after the ref turned it into an unfair contest

First half, although we had limited position we had the greatest share of dangerous moments - 3 shots on target to their zero

We may be disappointed in the result, but, we can't be disappointed in the team performance

Really? All about opinions but I thought we over ran Arsenal in the first half and started the second half well.

Subs were forced really. Keeping Mahrez on would have been pointless and Wasyl was our only RB cover. The only thing i'd have done differently is keep Shinji on.

But I firmly believe that if Wasyl hadn't ****ed up then Ranieri would have scored very highly.

Kasper would have to come second, surely. We all sit here praising the typical players in Vardy, Mahrez, Kante, we forget to praise the man between the sticks. Been excellent this season, gets better as the season goes on.

Some might disagree, but i think Wasyl was amazing since coming on, did what he needed to do. Just takes one moment to mar someone's performance unfortunately.

like i said, the first eleven and our tactics don't even need a manager to pick them pre-match any more. we play the same eleven the same way every week. on a game-by-game basis i don't think ranieri deserves more credit each time just for saying "yeah do the same thing".

obviously it's great and it works and he deserves all the credit he gets for coming up with these tactics. however it's easy when it's all going your way. he had some big decisions to make for the first time since villa (a) and for one of the very few times since about september, and that's twice in a month now he's got those big decisions completely, utterly and bafflingly wrong.

i love him we're great he's great it's all gravy we're going to win the league etc but just cos of all that previous it doesn't mean we should give a manager who got most his decisions wrong a 9 out of 10.

When else this month did he make a horrid error? Leaving Mahrez on PK at Villa and defending too deep?

pretty much everything that happened at villa park was a horrid error. bringing on de laet at right mid, taking off shinji etc.

happy to effectively and eventually draw a line through the handful of obvious errors he/the team have made considering how good we are, but if we're specifically discussing the last game then that's what i'll mark it on. and he was rubbish in it.

also fuchs got away with one here, thought he was our worst player by a distance. got annihilated time and again by AOC and the by walcott.

I understand why he brought Mahrez off - as he doesn't defend - but I think he knew he messed up taking him off hence 5 minutes later Gray came on for Okazaki.

King had no impact. We had no attacking intent, no forward runners and no attacking targets with Vardy having run himself to a standstill. It was just backs to notional defensive walls 10 yards apart at the edge of our penalty area.

We simply won the ball and gave it away.

King was pointless because he was shoved out wide. Which I couldn't understand given how good Albrighton had been playing and is obviously more effective than King in that position. King couldn't even keep the ball in the corner, Drinkwater had to come and take it off him (albeit Drinkwater then put a pointless cross in).

Spot on. Ranieri got two of the subs totally wrong. Gray is too inexperienced, lightweight and too much of a luxury player to have put on in such an important situation and match. (so why take Marhez off?!!) and King was totally pointless, and did nothing to bolster the side at a critical time. Ulloa would have been a better option as at least he heads well and could have helped out a little more both in defense and maybe to take away the focus on Vardy.

Wasyl would have scored 7-8 if he'd had not made that crazy foul at the death. He was excellent before that moment. Albrighton was also superb, and even Simpson was good until the Arse'nal players mouthed and moaned to the ref to send him off. After King, Fuchs (one of my favourite players) was easily the poorest performer throughout, as he was often beaten, made some sloppy passes and some rash tackles. Easily his worst performance for us in an otherwise awesome and almost flawless season so far.

I'm sure a lot of people on here rate players because of one moment, or because they are a favourite. I often wonder if anyone who votes actually watches the game!

How the hell Albrighton and Drinkwater has scored so low especially Albrighton-his defensive work is very underated.
