Claridge Posted 18 February 2016 Posted 18 February 2016 I would assume the white female would follow quite soon after Damn,no more blondes
Claridge Posted 18 February 2016 Posted 18 February 2016 So it really is about colour of skin for you? At least you confirmed it... Afraid us brownies are taking over
Rincewind Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 It's confusing isn't it? We have Racism Prejudice Stereotyping Pigeon holing Xenophobia All not nice if you are on the receiving end. There is no logic to the above things. It is all based on fear. Put that aside and you will see just one race. The Human race. Tell me I am wrong and justify any of the above traits in Man.
Merging Cultures Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 Think the White male will be extinct soonPhew, I've future proofed my son!
Countryfox Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 That's what I said! there will always be red haired people. Genetics! In 2000 years we will all be the same light brown colour and ginger people will be pulled over by police and stopped in the street for a random body search. Not been to St David's Island but lived in the Bahamas for a year at 16. You get around the world a bit, you must be loaded. Get a box seat and invite your old mate Boosey! It was years ago Boosy when I was young. Have a relative out there and spent many a month there 'between jobs' .... lots of fishing and diving ... drank alot in an all black bar and every now and again got asked to leave ... never did though. Suppose that was racism but never bothered me. Watched a few seasons from a box but much much better being back in the stands.
Finnegan Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 I'd say that's because Finners would articulate the point far better than Rincewind would. The example I gave was two identical paragraphs of text. I'd ****ing hope so.
MPH Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 You ever been to St Davids Island in Bermuda Boosy ? The locals there are very different to all the others on Bermuda ... they have red hair. Need to find out where @@gingerfox goes on holiday...
MPH Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 Afraid us brownies are taking over Even if you are joking. what has skin colour got to do with anything? Just let people be people. And even if you are a 'brownie' i still dont get what colour has top do with anything....

You are wrong Rince: Pigeon holing's a pretty handy way of passing documents between member's of staff at a workplace, though I will concede it probably did start out of fear of a lack of workplace productivity.

You are also wrong about Stereotyping. Im very particular about what type of stereo i buy and definitely prefer Sony to some of the other brands. Although i will concede that this is brought about by a fear of crap stereos...

srbfox Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 There's are only two types of people in this world, us and wankers!
leicsmac Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 Exactly,so why do another study on racism at football? Because regardless of the fact that everyone looks (and is) the same once you cut them open and have a look inside, some people of all different demographics still don't fvcking get this and insist on pursuing idiotic ideas of racial supremacy - whether at a small ("Some of my best friends are...") or big ("Science has proven that *insert race here* is superior to *insert race here*") level. I don't really suppose you can cure such stupidity with just another study, but more education might just help a bit.
Bettsj2 Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 . I'm mixed race and I have moments when i'm proud of one side of my heritage and ashamed of the other and the other way around. I was called names as a kid but then when I got older, my appearance worked to my advantage. Denying that black people get a rough deal in some parts of the world is blind same as try telling border security to treat a muslim man travelling alone with a long beard and shifty demeanour the same as Whitey McWhite with his C&A slacks and crisp ralph lauren polo. There's shit in life that probably aint right but its just tough shit. The problem isnt that it exists its that people play on it and use it as an excuse for failure. Is there anything stopping poor black youths in Brixton or Hackney getting an education and becoming a doctor or lawyer or whatever? No there isnt. Quite the opposite in fact. If you genuinely want to succeed, it matters not the colour of your skin, god you worship or what sex you are. In our society, anyone can achieve anything. You just have to not be a victim and cry about any little set back blaming it on your skin tone. If people took that attitude instead of allowing prejudice to dictate their lives, shit would change drastically.

Good point, in my experience it's often well meaning do gooders who want to find racism in anything. They usually make the situation far worse, as it promotes the fact that we are different. More focus on the similarities would be nice a bit more often.
Strokes Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 More focus on the similarities would be nice a bit more often. We are all cùnts.

Messing up at school is definitely not anything to do with race, and probably more to do with the fact our society doesn't prioritise education. No a days it is cool to be like Joey Essex and people want to be famous rather than work hard at school. I probably didn't do as well at school, in middle class oadby as I should have done because of the peer pressure to be cool, drink and try to get girls. I can't imagine what the pressure on a teenager is like in the Hackney etc. The teen would have to be very mature to rise above it, and have a parent who would actively support them, buy the books etc that they need. It's pretty obvious to see that not everyone, regardless of race, has the same opportunities to perform at school.

We all have the same opportunity to do well at school. Not everyone does but not through lack of opportunity, more as you say the distractions that occur that lead you away. I performed atrociously at school by the way as I hardly went in the last year.

Ironically, in the written word of English; I can count that this response has seven mistakes.
Freesolo Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 Hi, I am university student and I am forming a project on current issues on racism. The areas I look to cover is 'Social media effect on racism' 'Fans perceptions on racism' and 'Any fan experience of racist abuse (online or in stadiums)' I look to cover a good discussion on this page so would be appreciated for you guys to comment your views and experiences! Many thanks. As a White male i haven't but I have heard racist chants at filbert street in the 90s "your just a town full of £$%$£" disgusting Im sure it was Leeds and Middlesborough i think def Leeds. Leicester would always rally back with "And You know you are you're Scum"

Leicester would always rally back with "And You know you are you're Scum" There's a far greater undercurrent of racism now than there ever was in the 90s or in my own youth. But it's much more specific racism than blanket racism, although anti-white-British racism is rife and demonstrably so.

Don't be silly Thrac it was completely stamped out in the 70's when they banned the series 'Love Thy Neighbour'.
