None deserve more than 5 or 6, not the best performance, and couldn't pass to each other, other than the goal.

Norwich came for a draw and to frustrate us, and for 89 minutes, we didn't have a clue how to break them down.

All this said, average to poor performance, but a great win and a lovely feeling being clear by 5 points again.

Morgan, Kasper, and Ulloa don't deserve more than a 6?!

Schmeichel - Took the pressure off a couple of times with catches/punches, but then brought pressure back on too often by giving the ball straight back to them - 6

Amartay - Looked very rusty - 5

Morgan - MOTM - 7

Huth - Solid - 7

Fuchs - I'm usually a massive fan, but I thought he had a bit of a stinker today - 4

Mahrez - A weird performance, tried to create but also ran into opposition players too much - 6

Kante - Played well but the sub was the right one for tactical reasons - 7

Drinkwater - Completely marked out the game - 5

Albrighton - Looked rusty and got tackled too easily a couple of times, but he created probably our only 2 clear-cut chances with the goal and Huth's header so he ultimately was out best creative option - 6

Vardy - Just didn't get the service, but was it just me, or was his usual energy gone? He just didn't seem to press like usual - 5

Okazaki - A pest all game but struggled with the ball at his feet at times - 6

Schlupp - Looked bright when he came on, with the couple of usual running it out of play moments - 6

King - Not sure how to judge that one - 6

Ulloa - Won us the game - 7

Ranieri - The team picks itself, so it's hard to criticise that, but his subs won us the game - 8

Thought Norwich defended really well and were one of the best sides we faced.

No-one was a standout, but I thought Albrighton put in several good crosses, including the one from which Ulloa scored. Morgan was his usual solid self: how the fvck did we ever get to say that every week? Legend!

Schmeichel 5 - Distribution atrocious.

Amartey 6 - Thought he did ok. Didn't look too comfortable at right back.

Morgan 7 - Fine

Huth 7.5 - MOTM

Fuchs 5 - Weakest game for a while, Redmond had him on toast in the second half.

Albrighton 6.5 - Very up and down today - some terrible shooting but a great cross for the goal.

Drinkwater 6 - erratic. Had a good first half but that not a great second half.

Kante 6.5 - Not his usual self today. Still fine.

Mahrez 4 - One of those days

Okazaki 4 - Slowed down every attack. Tried his hardest but was redundant against that 5 man defence.

Vardy 5.5 - Tried his hardest but barely influenced the game.

subs:

King 6 - Busy

Schlupp 6.5 - Nice to have him back.

Ulloa 6.5 - Right place at the right time. Crucial goal, arguably should have been on sooner.

Norwich 5 - 1 for ambition, 9 for implementation of their plan.

Referee 2 - Worst of the season for me.

No, never really troubled defensively, and they did their job, so for me 5 or 6 is average +, or good I can't remember, but about right.

Leo scored, and did ok when he came on so 5 or 6.

Overall a below par performance, so average to good makings all around is fair in my opinion

Really! The effort some of these guy's put in to stay top of the best league in the world!!!!! 5 or 6!!!! Get a grip!!

not gonna do full ratings as i was sort of working whilst watching so wasn't fully concentrating but fuchs was below par again and the front 4 weren't up to much. not for lack of trying imo, just not much came off. but still, in the 90th minute mahrez feeds albrighton who puts in a great ball to vardy who causes enough confusion to result in a goal and a win. so can't complain.

Schmeichel(5) - Some good catches but in terms of kicking & throwing the ball out he was poor.

Amartey(5) - Didn't look great tbh, seemed to play the easy sideways option too many times.

Huth(8) - Very comfortable again, solid.

Morgan(8) - See Huth.

Fuchs(6) - Average performance but definitely not bad.

Mahrez(5) - Won us some free-kicks in good areas; however in terms of end product he was poor.

Drinkwater(5) - Thought he played well first half, second half he was poor, too many misplaced passes.

Kante(7) - As usual he controlled the midfield in my opinion, just hope he is OK.

Albrighton(6) - Got the winning assist but apart from that his end product was also poor.

Okazaki(7) - A real mixture again but I really enjoyed his link play today.

Vardy(6) - Nothing much went for him.

Subs

Ulloa(7) - Hero!

King(6) - Did his job well.

Schlupp(6) - Two good runs, two bad runs.

Schmeical. 6 not his best. Clean sheet but poor distribution. When Vards Marc and Rhiyad stay upfield for an opposing corner, surely the point is to get the ball back upfront before their defenders get back to position.

Amartey 6 a bit nervous at first and seemed uncertain to know who to pass or throw to. Looked good going forward though.

Morgan and Huth 7 consistently good performances.

Fuchs 7 did well with Schlupp in front of him, got forward well.

Mahrez 6 one of his of games. Needs to be more consistent if he wants to go to Barca!

Kante 8 great game. I didnt see an injury, though it a tactical sub.

Drinkwater 7 had to cover Mahrez and Amartey and had to hold back as a result.

Albrighton 7 better when switched to the Right.

Okazaki 7 everything but a goal at home. Great work rate.

Vardy 7 heavily marked. Could have stolen Leo's goal if he was a foot quicker.

Claudio: 8 great subs. Never in doubt.

Schlupp 7 a vgreat attacking option (when awake!)

King 7 6 always a reliable option from the bench.

Leo 8 played well and a great poachers goal.

Norwich 4 no real quality, but more threat from set pieces than we have recently seen (need to watch out against WBA for these). A good game plan that nearly worked.

Get a grip, 6 is good, it's called an opinion.

Other games I would have given them 8 or 9 because they deserve it, I'm rating 6 on today's performance, which was average.

Opinion are like arse holes, we all have one, I don't need to get a grip because my differs from yours, and I rate as the title says, Leicester v Norwich, sorry if you want ratings for the whole season, rename the thread

Albrighton won the MOTM for me, it was a difficult game to pick one though so many I feel had an off day to there usual standards. There was neither a worst player on the field or the best on the field. Albrighton of course won some key tackles and set up Ulloa's goal, so gave it to him. No one got more 7/10.

Norwich didn't look as bad as I thought they were, probably unlucky not to get a point there defence did a good job today apart from the end of course  :P , up front is another weakness never really pressured Leicester.

Kasper 5 some poor distribution and he should've come for the Jerome chance

Amartey 6 Don't think right back is his position, but didn't let us down

Morgan 7 Best CB in the league

Huth 7 As good as Wes tofay. Completely reliable

Fuchs 6 Did fine, got forward well

Albrighton 7 -Never gives up, put in some great crosses. Maybe he's better on the right? MOTM

Kante 6 Some great interceptions . Hope he's not out for long

Drinkwater 6 Did fine but not his usual influence

Mahrez 6 Not his day but played a key part in the goal

Okasaki 6 Thought he linked play well at times, decent in the air for his size

Vardy 6 Didn't really get a kick

Thought Schlupp did really well when he came on

World class first touch from Shinj several times this match, surprised nobody else has mentioned that, very unlucky not to score with that sideheel.  I have not been as impressed with Shinj of late as some others have but yesterday we saw him at 80% confidence and its getting more every game, really thought that was his best game this year.  Maybe I'm biased though

Really glad for Ulloa, he always really impresses me whenever he is brought on second half, but really disappoints when he starts.

Ranieri -8- Got it mostly spot on, subs were better than the Arse'nal match, but I thought it strange to start Amartey as he clearly was not up to speed.

Kasper -7- Apart from poor distribution I thought he look confident and powerful. Love his passion and commitment.

Amartey -5 - Nervous. Obvious talent, but always looked for easy options and was caught out several times. Has to adjust to P/L pace. Simpson back next match please.

Morgan -7.5- Strong and commanding.

Huth -7.5- Another excellent performance.

Fuchs -5- I'm a huge fan, but he's lost a bit of form. Poor v Arse'nal & today. The good thing is that form is temporary, class is permanent. He'll be back to his best very soon.

Albrighton -8- MOTM. Ran everywhere, strong tackles, some good shots and crosses, plus a superb match winning cross.

Drinkwater -7- Norwich were on him all match, but he still played some lovely balls.

Kante -7- Like Drinky. Norwich all over him and although he ran and tackled with usual zest, he looked uncomfortable for once.

Mahrez -5.5- Never really in the match, yet he still did a couple of runs which had the Norwich defenders in real trouble. He'll have to get used to this for the next 11 matches.

Okazaki  -6- Some nice touches and his flick from Vardy's cross was excellent, if only it had gone in. Ran his socks off as usual.

Vardy -6- Again, Norwich did a good job on him. Out of the match for long periods.

Subs:

King -5- Too lightweight for me.

Schlupp -7- So happy to see him back. He gives us so many other options and his pace frightens defenders.

Ulloa -6.5- He's a very useful sub. Big and strong at the back (should have been on against Arse'nal instead of Gray) and gives us a different option up front.

Norwich -6- Obviously playing for the draw and were unlucky not to get it. They are on a dire run and although played OK, they look in deep trouble to me.

Officials -6- Can't say I noticed them do too much wrong.

So on we go. WBA up next and another crucial match (aren't they all now?!). WBA will be another very tough match, especially after they beat Palace yesterday. We must watch their set pieces and their dirty back four. Hope we get a strong referee. Need to win this to keep the pressure on the others. They can't better our result if we win. This result was very important for the team and by winning late it wiped out a lot of the bad memories of the Arse'nal match. Looking forward to Swansea winning at Tottingham and Man Ure beating Arse'nal later today for a pretty much perfect weekend.

What surprised me most of all was how Ranieri said that the Norwich game would be tough on us. Well, perhaps he knows teams better than I've ever given him credit. I thought it would be an easy win. Perhaps he's tactically better than I've ever given him credit for.

Looks like Mahrez is not appreciated by the "match ratings" experts of the thread  ;)  . Almost every game, he is among the least rated. I am sure he is close to being THE least rated on average :D .

Pretty much the same as what I voted. Totally agree.

Schmeichel 6 - Had only one save to make, but his allround play was actually good. The way he came off his line to put off Jerome was vital and uncharacteristically he dealt very well with crosses all game. His distribution was mostly miss, but also a hit on a couple of occasions. You can see what he's trying to do and tactically it was right to try to catch a few Norwich players off guard by restarting quickly.

Amartey 6 - Frankly, his performance warrants a 5 rather than a 6. I'm being generous because of the circumstances of his debut. I liked that he pushed forward a lot, but what use is that if he doesn't threaten to deliver a cross or a meaningful pass? The one time he did overlap, it actually created an opening for Mahrez which was dutifully exploited with that superb dummy but underwhelming finish. It was a low-risk game to introduce him, in the sense that Wasilewski or Moore would probably have contributed even less in an attacking sense.

Huth 7 - Solid as ever. His no non-sense style should be textbook stuff for young defenders.

Morgan 7 - Along with Huth, he's been so good at snuffing out threats lately.

Fuchs 6 - Being a little generous here too. Defensively he was not very good. He lost Jerome for his big chance, didn't deal all that well with Redmond and his crosses were frankly a bit shit. One day, he won't get away with the mistakes he makes, but thankfully he has mostly solid games.

Mahrez 5 - Where Amartey and Fuchs get the benefit of the doubt, Mahrez maybe gets a harsh 5. We rely on him way too heavily to generate that spark that will unlock deep defences, and once again, he's not convinced me that he's up to that. He looked strangely rusty, he didn't once beat Brady for pace. Yes, he provided the pass for Albrighton's cross. Yes, he showed some superb skill and created some half-chances, but on the basis of this season it's what you come to expect from him. He's top class, so when he doesn't meet expectations, he'll get lower marks.

Drinkwater 5 - Again, harsh. But his game is all about switching play and hitting long "diags" (as Jenas calls them) to Vardy. Norwich completely stopped that part of his game. Never stopped grafting and still showed some neat interplay with Kanté and Mahrez in spells. Played a part in the build-up to the goal.

Kanté 6 - Like Mahrez, you come to expect a top class pest-like performance from him every game. He didn't do much wrong and his dynamism and surprising flair helped forcing the Norwich door open on a couple of occasions. Superb stuff defending again, but not as influential as he has previously been. Him getting subbed really had me worried about our run-in.

Albrighton 7 - Probably no more than a 5 or 6 for the first 70 minutes, but he really stepped up when he moved to the right flank. Great covering and a great ball in for Ulloa. Superb free kick in the first half as well which I thought was just creeping in at the far post. Had three decent half chances first half and fluffed his lines with all of them.

Okazaki 6 - He will always contribute something with his constant chasing. He's also finding himself in more promising positions, but he just rarely looks like scoring doesn't he? I wouldn't be surprised to see Ulloa coming on earlier (maybe half time) against WBA, if the scenario is the same as in this game.

Vardy 6 - I'm being slightly generous here too. Was feeding off crumbs, and generally did OK when he got the ball. Fine piece of play to set up the Okazaki chance, acceptable effort from the free kick and his determination and will played an ever so marginal but important part to our goal. We know he will struggle when he gets starved of space, but like Okazaki, you know he will always put pressure on opposition defenders and midfielders with his harrying.

Subs:

King 6 - Made promising runs and covered the defence alright too. His lack of pace showed when Redmond completely planted him moments before Ulloa's goal.

Schlupp 6 - Didn't contribute directly to the goal, but his introduction changed the game along with the change in system. His directness offered a completely different challenge to Pinto than Albrighton had given him all game. Suddenly Pinto couldn't press forward and they got more nervous. That said, little came off for Schlupp and he looked rusty and slow even at 'full pelt'. Good to have him back!

Ulloa 7 - only 17 minutes on the pitch, but his impact is enough to earn him a 7. He looked surprisingly sharp and it was great to see him gamble and take a run to the far post for the goal. He's missed some absolute sitters this season and has had to make do with a place on the bench, despite being last season's top scorer. It seems he's not sulking about it and from his post-match interview it seems clear that all the players are indeed pulling in the same direction. Very happy for him.

Ranieri 7 - Again, maybe harsh seeing as we won it with his tactical change and substitutions. But he left it rather late! It would have been slightly embarrassing if Norwich managed to get their first away clean sheet against us. Deserves credit for changing things with the right personnel and also credit to the medical staff for taking off Kanté as a precaution. I feel very, very calm in the knowledge that our medical staff know what they're doing.
