The worst quote criticizing Leicester's choice of Ranieri: Place it here!

Dietmar Hamaan, former Leicester City coach:

"Can't believe Leicester appointed Ranieri. Great club, great fanbase but I'm afraid MK rather than Old Trafford season after next."

And to think we employed the guy at one point. Cvnt.

Surprised you were bothered who was "manager" seeing as Wes is the actual gaffer. We could have plucked Long Eaton FC's manager and still been where we are.

haha for sure we need a manager to the all the media and the tactics and subs etc. But Morgan is the man manager and what he says goes.

Alan Brazil,on Talksport last week, who said Leicester would be in the exactly the same position in the League now, if Nigel Pearson was still in charge !

That was Micky Quinn. Brazil claimed Ranieri wasn't a nice man or good coach a few weeks ago though.

If so many people thought appointing Ranieri was a bad move, how come some had the wisdom to actually

put money on us to win the league?

Where did that come from?... and why didn't they tell me?

Because 5000/1 in a 20 horse race is a monster price, especially seeing as we'd won 7/9 on the run-in last season.

If I'd spotted that price I'd have a had a quid I reckon. I found a Whatsapp conversation with a mate the other day from November 7th (after Watford at home) where I was telling him we were 1500/1 and each way paid 1st and 2nd at 375/1 (1/4 odds). I didn't put the bet on like a muppet.

Nearly every week that idiot Hamaan tips is to lose in the Racing Post, if you had followed his advice you would be skint now.

These threads are so cringey.

Who cares if people had us to go down, honestly?

It's part of the fun of being a Leicester fan. Rubbing shite in the twats faces. Don't need to join in the fun! ;)

Lets he honest, we have had all along only one believer...and literally kept to

the 'Spirit' of the game.

our famous car park attendant King Richard III, bless him. A guy who really bent over

backwards and lost his head to the cause.

His 2nd birth, his 2nd reign, will confirm KP long remembered success, because his name

will stay associated with 'The Leicester' one could say the on going stories will be 'Thai-ed

together forever...

I have to admit that the reason I come on this forum has more to do with the quips that with the general football talk. "Our famous car park attendant King Richard III". Just fecking kills me! Thanks for the laugh.

Michael Calvin (Aug, 2015), journo: "Ranieri will be sacked by October," followed by " Leicester are not a natural Premier league team"! What a nasty piece of work!

Beats everything. Soon to be Manager of the season and champions.

I wasn't overwhelmed, my only concern was he had never managed a club of our size but I kept telling people in the office 'We're not asking him to win the league ffs, just keep us up!'

Er.......OK

I think Parma is about our size...about...

When he said he would be interested in talking to us I googled him, saw his record and got exited at the prospect of him joining but then resigned myself that he wouldn't. I was on holiday so when a mate texted me unimpressed with the appointment I was delighted and told him it was a good appointment. I even got a bit flushed that something like this could happen but quickly told myself to stop being stupid and brought myself back down to earth.

I was surprised at the time when it seemed I was the only person on social media thinking Ranieri was an upgrade on Pearson...

Obviously couldn't have expected what has happened but was fairly confident with a mid table finish at the least.

Yuck! Fans we could do without.....what a ridiculous and vulgar response. Don't mind the thread but do mind this. Do you honestly believe that you are achieving that? You become the joke. Let them say what they want and let the results speak.

I agree.

Do you agree that what Micky Quinn said (it was Quinn, not Alan Brazil, as someone else pointed out to me) was right and Pearson would have been just as successful; or my point, that Quinn's an idiot for thinking Nige would have been anywhere near as good for us this season as Claudio ?

Yes, you're right Corky, it was Quinn who was the idiot.  My memory is obviously going, cos I now remember it was a Scouse comment, not a Scot !  I have edited my post - thanks.

Yeah but people go on like there was absolutely no chance we would be going down.

We might have had a good end to the season but, on the face of it, the summer was a complete disaster.

Wasn't impressed when it happened think it had something to do with sven had a similar image of him in my head and was abit young in 2004 to grasp what he'd actually done with chelsea.

Who cares.

People get a prediction wrong. What a shock that is!!!!!!

If only there was such thing as looking into the future, then we'd all be millionaires...

Posted

Yeah but I'd like to clarify that that wasn't about us appointing Ranieri (which is what this thread is for), it was about us sacking Pearson. Still lots of egg on my face though.

That's just even more stupid if we're honest. lol
