Was thinking about this this morning, don't know why.

De Gea

Bellerin

Alderweireld

Morgan

Rose/Cresswell

Mahrez

Kante

Alli

Payet

Kane

Vardy

Can't see past that at this stage, my only doubt is Cresswell or Rose.

Butland/Lloris

Bellerin

Morgan

Aldereiweld

Rose

Mahrez

Alli

Kante

Payet

Vardy

Lukaku/Kane

Morgan has been superior to Huth this season imo. The only other debates are the right and left back spots

There's a very strange attitude to Kane on here. The notion he isn't the best striker in the league this season is something I can't get my head round, and he had a good attitude when he played for us.

He's definitely not the best striker in the league, lets get that sorted.

He's an excellent player, no doubt. But goals is sort of all he does.

He's getting better at his all round game, for sure. But would I take him over Aguero, Vardy or Lukaku? No chance.

This season he absolutely is. Clearly Aguero is the better player.

Does it not **** you off when people say Vardy is just a one trick pace merchant? Not recognising Kane as a top class player is equally daft. It's like say Rush, Shearer and Owen were just poachers.

I also wouldn't swap Vardy for him, as Vardy is imperative for how we play, plus he's ours, we found him and developed him from a non league player.

It winds me up when people say that because Vardy clearly isn't.

He's second to Mahrez in the Goals + Assists table, clearly puts in a serious shift every game and, importantly, scores a lot of goals.

There is no way that Kane has been better than Vardy this season. He's in incredible form at the moment, but Vardy has been the better striker.

I think when all is done and dusted you'll find it hard to separate them to be honest.

They're both excellent players and it's a real shame they won't start together in France.

Totally agree. Kane is a top striker and has proved it scoring 20+ goals for two consecutive seasons now.

People seem to have some sort of vendetta towards him and it's so weird.

Kane had a crap attitude when he played for us. Go back and have a look at any threads from then, he had virtually nobody sticking up for him because his attitude stank.

He's turned into a top quality centre forward though, which I doubt many saw coming.

From me, most of the Kane abuse is down to:

1. I hate Spurs.

2. His face is just awful.

3. It really seems to rattle Spurs fans.

4. The hype surrounding him and Ali is ridiculously ott, you'd think they were Ronaldo and Messi if you only read the papers here.

He's obviously a very good finisher. He's that weird sort of RVN, Thomas Muller, Steve Claridge style striker that doesn't seem to be exceptional at anything but just scores goals.

He can find space and hit the target. Job done.

Anyone claiming he's better than Vardy is just being contrary to stand out and anyone claiming he's worse than Vardy is just biased because we're city fans. They've clearly both been on par this season, are both very different strikers and should both be starting together for England. Fact.

Stick Lukaku in that Spurs team and he'd probably have outscored Kane this year, to be honest, but that's no slight at Kane - Lukaku is just different mustard.

Oh and both my PFA team of the year and England starting eleven would be a 442 with Kane and Vardy up front and Ali and Drinks in the middle.

For PFA, Mahrez on one wing, both of our centre halves and the rest I don't care.

Edit: scratch Ali and put Kante in for PFA. What am I doing. Scenes.

I couldn't believe the hate he was getting on Saturday.

We've got a chance of a young England team that looks classy, fearless and could go places and people still can't enjoy it, first time for years Saturday I was jumping around watching us and some people were still shouting insults at Kane for scoring.

I think he's a marvellous striker.

Doesn't mean I have to like him.

He couldn't be more like Alan Shearer if he tried.

To be fair, that face.

Be fair, he's not kicked Ngolo Kante in the face for tackling him.

He best keep it that way. Especially while we've still got Wasyl waiting to be unleashed.

That's pretty close for me, Bert.

Maybe Lloris for De Gea?

Smalling, Fuchs/Rose, Drinkwater, Willian, Coutinho and Lukaku on the bench; though Smalling looked poor for England v Germany, I thought.

Willian will almost certainly get in and it'll be a travesty. Being the least shit for a shit team is not a good thing.

I'll take that bet with you for sure.

There is no way he's getting in.
