I'm struggling to imagine having anything other than full electric again. Did a 270 mile round trip in it the other day and while I don't think it would have made it on one charge (I wasn't driving particularly conservatively) I topped up on a fast charger at the services and that took about 15 minutes, and got home with about 70 miles to spare.

It's just not a big deal is it? Still the case that the numbers don't stack up if you can't charge at home, but for everyone else it can work and work well

Worth checking on this site if you are looking at hybrid then as some have been reassessed and now have much higher emissions:

comcar.co.uk/companycar/tax/select

I went hybrid thinking that this will probably be my last petrol car before the BiK ramps up dramatically in 2028.

Cheers I have a list from work which advises on the tax impact.

So I have a lovely stone chip in the bodywork which needs repairing🙄. Does anyone recommend a company to use?

Eye test, blood test, hearing test, theory test, driving test, HGV test?

If it's driving test then my cousins young son was on a waiting list too, but they rang him up at short notice and asked if he could do that day. I assume from last minite cancelations.

My wife has recently given birth to our first born and im looking at upgrading my car as it struggles to fit our pram  alongside anything else (and need to bin off this shitty Puegot 208 with its crappy wetbelt that degraded at 27k miles..)

I like the VW T-Cross. Looks like you can adjust the boot space too which is good.

Does anyone have one of these and can give their opinion? I know very little about reliability of cars so any advice welcome!

Only just saw this, was a few months ago now but I used an app called TestShift. Took months off the initial vs actual test date for my son. May have changed but would highly recommend based on my experience with it.

Had to subscribe to premium which was about £12 from memory but over 2 tests it literally shaved 254 days off the initial test dates. Good luck to you both!

That's basically the Ionic 5

A lot smaller. I have an ioniq 5 and you can fit your whole house in the boot with rear seats folded down. Oh and along with 640BHP

At first, the Ioniq 5 looked kinda nice to me and I had the impression they'd be more compact.

Then I saw the first one in real life. And they're massive. Bit like a lowrider SUV.

The 5 N is insane, though. And the 6 N even more.

yea they are huge in person, massive inside..

yea it’s insane tbh, the gear simulation makes you feel like you are driving an ICE car, such clever technology. Won performance car of the year and you can see why

Apparently, Porsche are now copying the N 6 sound design.

The irony: The head of design for Hyundai is a German. lol
