Final Table Predictor, who's your top 6?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Just a bit of fun, go to http://www.thefishy.co.uk/calc.phpand select the top 6 sides. Then you need to predict home win, draw or away win and it will give you the final table.

Post your results below

1 Leicester 38 +21 74

2 Man City 38 +29 72

3 Tottenham 38 +29 71

4 Man Utd 38 +20 67

5 Arsenal 38 +16 67

6 West Ham 38 +14 64

I have Leicester as the champions and thats losing at Chelsea on the final day of the season

Posted

1 Leicester 38 +21 76

2 West Ham 38 +21 71

3 Arsenal 38 +18 70

4 Tottenham 38 +31 69

5 Man City 38 +27 69

6 Chelsea 38 +15 63

That looks pretty unrealistic and I was trying to be as unbiased as possible!

Just tried this without selecting any teams, so that the computer forecast all results based on current form.

This was the outcome:

8 Stoke 38 -4 54

9 Everton 38 +11 53

16 Swansea 38 -10 43

17 Norwich 38 -18 42

18 Sunderland 38 -15 40

19 Newcastle 38 -29 34

20 Aston Villa 38 -32 30

Sunderland & Newcastle to BOTH go down (and Sunderland on 40pts)?!  lol

Seems to under-estimate both Chelsea and Liverpool, I'd say.

with 3 draws for us

I tried my best to be realistic, perhaps even a little pessimistic, and I came out with Leicester on 76, Arsenal 75, Spurs 73, Man City 69. But that depends on us getting a final day draw at Chelsea, having begun the day three points clear, and to be fair it's hard to imagine Spurs only getting 15 from 8 games.

Posted

I have us getting 76 points and Spurs 75

Us:

Palace 1 point

Saints 3 points

Sunderland 1 point

West Ham 1 point

Swansea 3 points

Man U 0 points

Everton 3 points

Chelsea 1 point

Spurs:

Bournmouth 3 points

Liverpool 0 points

United 1 point

Stoke 3 points

West Brom 3 points

Chelsea 1 point

Saints 3 points

Newcastle 3 points

4 draws, 3 wins and 1 loss  V  2 draws, 5 wins and 1 loss... shows how huge that 5 points is. Shame about the goal difference as it's really like them having an extra point. I'm worried one of our draws could be a loss and hand it to them!

This is not based on the predictor because we'd all be millionaires if we could predict that well, but seeing as there are 8 league games to go, this is the result of the table based on the last 8 results.
