I'm not convinced winning 1-3 is better than winning 0-2 say, the away clean sheet is as impressive as the goal if not more. PSG goal killed the tie off 30 mins early. Also as pointed out above the fact that the team playing away 2nd can get an extra 30 mins to bag is a bit shit. If it were me I'd change it so they only count if both games were draws.

I'd keep it but stop counting them if it goes to extra time in the 2nd leg, it's a good incentive for the away side not to camp out the first leg.

They went from needing 4 goals to force extra time (1 goal in the remaining 30 minutes), to needing 6 goals to win (3 goals in the remaining 30 minutes) because PSG scored 1 away goal. It feels very cruel, though as I said, I'm not completely against the away goal rule, and in this instance I guess I'm fine with it. The biggest problem I have with the away goal rule isn't even about the away goal rule... it is that finishing top of your group means playing at home 2nd, a game in which it can go to extra time. If we lost 4-0 in a first leg and then went on to score 4 in the 90 minutes of the 2nd leg, only for Sevilla to score an away goal in the extra 30 minutes, do you think it's fair we would need 2 goals in the 30 extra to win?
