Got to give a shout out to Suarez though, surely one of the biggest cheaters ever in the game. Takes the shine off it for me, that joke penalty decision made it all possible. As Leicester fans, when people get all salty about how opposition teams defend against us we're always quick to say it's because of how we play. You force those mistakes. PSG weren't good and the decision TO defend was an awful one but let's be fair, the way Barcelona keep the ball and probe relentlessly it's not exactly easy to defend against either is it?
ithuriel Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 PSG folded so badly I'm wondering if they were paid off
Jonezy Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Holy crap! What a game and well played Barca, but can we please get some help for the refs soon. These diving antics are too much now, and Suarez even got rewarded with it. PSG still had two 1-on1s to win it, so they can't blame the ref entirely (but probably will).
RowlattsFox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Great that Barca never gave up but it's a shame the blatant cheating will probably be ignored. Still no excuse for PSG though, you should never lose from that position.

ealingfox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Just want to point out the 2nd one was a penalty, as was the first one. Clearly trips Suarez just after putting his arm across him. I will concede that the brush of the arm had Suarez heading for ground but he does also get fouled.
Tielemans63 Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Best game I've seen in years. Incredible. You can take the French men out of the team but you can't take the Frenchman out the team. Cavani and Di Maria will have nightmares tonight.

They couldn't cope with the gung ho press that Barca applied throughout. Soooo many gaps, but they kept giving the ball away time after time after time. I'm flabbergasted at how PSG and Emery didn't see this coming. At half-time, how could he not change things? Barca were allowed to do as they pleased more or less.

So I turned over for the last knockings of the Man City v Stoke game. Great move, Einstein. Fortunately I managed to catch the winner but after 85 thought this was done. Had to double check it was 5-1 as the TV was quite far away and the commentators were making a fuss about how much injury time and couldn't understand why

GaelicFox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Rumours of this game being fixed look fairly accurate now !

fuchsntf Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 psg..No capitals.. What a terrible , abysmal performance. If it was Leicester ok , not psg.... Dubious penalty, but still!!
Hammo Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Two inescapable truths confirmed by this game: 1) Never give up 2) Suarez is the most incorrigible cheat in the history of football
Koke Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 We need to get past Sevilla and have a Vardy 88th minute dive at the Nou Camp to rile up all these Internet Barca fans.

Di Maria also came on and somehow managed to mess up everything shot, pass and foul for Neymar's goal.

Hopefully we will be playing in that biggish bit in that there stadium in a couple of months time picking up the CL trophy! I live in Cardiff and it has never been this sunny. Regardless of the time of year, come dressed for end-of-days type rain. Those catalans won't know what's hit them.
