That is exactly what the Barcelona team needed.

Superb.

Probably copied our style-of-play from last season and proved that anything can happen to overcome tough odds.

Hate Barcelona as well. Neymar and Suarez are odious *****. Other than Messi, never liked any of their big players. Their "fans" are unbearable as well. Worse than Man Utd "fans".

Neymar is a diver no question. Thing is, he carried Barcelona alone tonight. Dat free kick and chip to S.Roberto. Hope they'll get knocked out in the next round. Two undeserved pens.

2?

The first one was a penalty.

It was quite telling that the ref didn't actually give the first pen. The Barca players steamed in to have a moan but he was unmoved at first but, 'hey presto' a few of the Barca lads get in face of the assistant and it's eventually given.

I agree with Kitch, the second pen was a joke. The guys in the studio agreeing 'it is a pen, it's a foul'...WTF he literally puts an arm on him for less than a second - it is never ever a foul anywhere else in the pitch and it is never a pen. Praising Suarez for 'winning' it is just disgusting. I admire Barca but they get so many questionable decisions it's ridiculous.

I watched it many times and for me the defender just tripped. But everybody is saying the contrary. I should stop with the gin for tonight, I think.

They were both penalties! Its not the arm which is the foul on the 2nd.

You said earlier. Think you're wrong twice!  He doesn't have to go down. It's unlikely to be given as a foul outside the box. It's definitely not a pen. but that what you get at home in Europe. Lest hope we get a couple of home decisions next week. Up to us to put pressure on the officials.

If we beat Sevilla with a 95th minute winner via a blatant dive from Vardy, nobody here will give a shit. There will be a week long wankfest on here about us being in the quarters.

Rightfully so.

Though the usual moaners will be saying

We had an easy group etc.

Nope, I'm right twice. You can't have watched much football if 'having to go down' is the clincher. If the ball comes over the top anywhere on the pitch and you trip someone running through, it's always given as a foul, and you'd often get a yellow for a professional foul.

No moaning at all. But it was an easy group, like it or not. Nevertheless, we did well in qualifying with a spare game.

I hate Barca but I think Suarez is getting more stick for the second pen than someone without a rep would. I think it was a really harsh penalty but on first glance it looked like a pen and I can understand why the ref gave it. It wasn't even a dive per se, the arm itself wasn't a foul but it looked like their legs tangled a bit too.

Not sure how anyone can claim the first wasn't a pen.

That heartless, callous decision has lost all the affection I had for PSG. This is football's lowest day. He should've been given a job for life or at least the chance to take them down. I bet the assistant manager gets it now, never liked him. Going out in the last 16 is PSG's natural level, do they expect to hold on to 4-0 leads?
