fuchsntf Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 City.........max points...85 Spurs.....max points....80. also depends what happens tomorrow, it could be less.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 We weren't going to win all of the remaining games, a point was good giving that I considered this our toughest of the last 5 games. It was made even harder by having a ref that didn't know what he was doing.
stevelcfc Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 If Mahrez was still on the pitch.. Would he have taken that pen? ..blimey I think probably so!? That is why Ranieri is a genius, he foresaw what was going to happen and reacted accordingly.
KP Fox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Eh?! I actually think the point makes minimal difference. Spurs will win their 5 games so we need to win 3 games, as we did before today. What the late goal does give us is a little more belief and momentum. The point is not "minimal difference". Before the game we needed 9 points to win the league. Now we need 8 from 12. We don't need to think about Spurs.
nobby.bk Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Perhaps, more important than the point was the spirit shown by the team. 10 men against 11...Foxes Never Quit and they were all Fearless. Congratulations.
Sharpe's Foxes Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I think the point is more important in finishing off Arsenal and Man City's outside hopes.
eunmac Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 That single point means a Swansea win is going to be really important...No Vardy is a real question mark: Do we play 4-4-1-1 with Mahrez / Okazaki upfront?
Biggus Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I've not worked it out but that point could, in some scenarios, take away the difference Spurs have in goal difference by putting us one point ahead. More than that it was another point but a massive one that keeps the fight in the players and fans going.
erlee Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Eh?! I actually think the point makes minimal difference. Spurs will win their 5 games so we need to win 3 games, as we did before today. What the late goal does give us is a little more belief and momentum. what makes u so sure they'll win ALL their matches? they have got Chelsea & southampton
Guest LCFC_World Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 This is only a big point if Stoke avoid a loss tonight. I'd take a draw now, but a Stoke win....

Raw Dykes Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 This is only a big point if Stoke avoid a loss tonight. I'd take a draw now, but a Stoke win.... Not really. If Spurs draw just one of their remaining games, they'll only be able to get 78 points. In that case, that point could make all the difference. Then we'll only need 2 more wins to get 79 points. Without that point, those 2 wins would get us to 78, and Spurs would take the title on goal difference.

Bayfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Hoping beyond hope that last time we drew 2-2 at home it looked like 2 points dropped. More of the same this time please spurs. Hate to say it but come on stoke, do us a massive favour.
Callabinho Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The most important points are the four we've taken from Spurs. That will be the difference IMO.
kingcarr21 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Its more than just a point. Us avoiding defeat psychologically keeps us on track. If we had lost it would have had the media talking about a total derailment. It also increases the gap. Before the game a draw would have felt like 2 points dropped. The way the game panned out it feels like a point gained which can work wonders on our confidence.
ceredigion Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I think it was a very important point. We were never going to win all our last 10 games to the end of the season and if you can't win then a draw is the next best thing. Yesterday lunchtime we needed 9 points, now that's down to 8 and that total will reduce again tonight if Spurs don't win.
stripeyfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I'm going to be a fully dyed in the wool Stoke fan tonight! You Potters!!!
Russell sprout Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 That is why Ranieri is a genius, he foresaw what was going to happen and reacted accordingly. I don't think at 1-0 cr could have foreseen the events that followed, I don't think his decision to take mahrez off was due to the chance we might get a penalty, more the fact mahrez was having another poor game

goose2010 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Ulloa said in his interview after the game, that is a massive boost for the team and it feels like a win. It was a massive point and will be key. West Ham are where they are for a reason Bilic is a great manager and it wouldn't surprise me if they do what we are doing next season, just depends how they settle in to their new home.
