Ballie1981 Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 So to ask again anyone know if you still get 50 points for renewing? Yeah you normally do but it won t get put on your points until the start of next season
Filbert_Ross Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 Yeah you normally do but it won t get put on your points until the start of next season Probably. Based on previous years you have a maximum of 100 points for having a season ticket though. So if renewing for next season makes it 3 years on the trot you'll still only have 100 points for having a season ticket not 150.

Yeah they only take the last two years of points (STs and away points). So next year any points earned in the championship year drop off. I think
kingcarr21 Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 You only get a maximum of 100 points via the season ticket renewal. So next seasons 50 points will replace the 50 points lost from our Championship winning season.

leicesterseddon Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 It's interesting how the increase in TV money has changed the debate about this issue. Essentially, it seems to have split fans into two camps: 1) Ticket prices will depend on market demand for them - other sources of revenue are irrelevant 2) The increase in TV money should be used as a windfall to reduce ticket prices I'd be interested to see some data on which of these views is more prevalent - my money would be on the latter, although I suppose that's not surprising!
Bayfox Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 You got no points for having a season ticket in the championship?Championship aways he meant. So this seasons total is made up of. Last year's season ticket. 50. This year's. 50 Plus Championship aways. Last year's aways And this year's aways. Next year. The 1st 50 for season ticket will get dropped and replaced by next seasons And the championship aways go. Meaning 23 league games and a few cup ties will go. Edit No he did mean the championship season ticket. No that hasn't counted. Just aways as explained above.
ScouseFox Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 oh man all my champ aways in the bin. back to 100 points for me. goodbye, european tour.
gonnabeblueforever Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 Is that this next seasons new t&cs? Yes, it is mentioned several times in the online brochure
Izzy Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 pretty underwhelming. the club is going to get so much more money next season they could've shared a tiny percentage of that extra profit with us. but no. didn't expect it really. But why should they share a % of their extra profit with us and reduce prices? You're not a shareholder, so don't expect a dividend. They're businessmen not a charity. Remember they dish out clappers, donuts, scarves and beer out of their profits - which the don't have to. In a country where the cost of going to the cinema, music festivals and most other entertainment is significantly on the increase, freezing ST ticket prices should be welcomed and embraced. You'd think that some on here expect it their right to get in for free FFS. An average of £25-35 a match to watch top quality football in the best league in the world is incredible value. Be grateful.
Dodgy Bob Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 In the premier league only Everton and Sunderland have reduced season ticket prices so far, haven't they? Everton will still be quite a bit more expensive than us, they're one of the most expensive non-london clubs. And Sunderland, well they probably need to think about paying people to watch if they have many more shit seasons. You'd do well to find a better value season ticket in the world than Leicester right now.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 I think for what I've paid this season it's been an absolute ****ing bargain.
Bayfox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Yes, it is mentioned several times in the online brochure Read the pdf now. Yes looks like rules have stayed the same. Now to work on getting a 4th season ticket of anyone near me has been banned
davieG Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Although it would have been nice to have a reduction the big issue for me even as a ST holder is the matchday prices. I realise they are dearer to justify ST holders paying up front but ST holders do get other benefits making the cost gap between the two excessive.
Raj Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Anyone with an ST for over say 5 years should have got 25% off. That then says all the bandwagoners who have hopped on now should stay on the the rough times as loyalty pays off financially.
GaelicFox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 If she doesn't already have one. 2 points. You may struggle to get one. Who's not going to renew. On today's evidence it maybe season ticket holders only for cl games. Secondly. Don't get it in the family stand. I have a hint from Jim that upgrades in family stand may go from the 3 currently to none. And they may cut down elsewhere I have had daughters for 4 seasons now and have been warned this year that I have only used it 3 times without the upgrade and they may change things. I spoke to ticket office yesterday about this and as we have 3 night time champions league games they will have to allow upgrades many of the kids won't be able to go mine included If they don't allow upgrades I'll be moving out of the family
Goddard Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Let's face it, there's a risk of there being a black market for season tickets this summer as demand is massively exceeding supply.
Guest bennytwohats Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Anyone with an ST for over say 5 years should have got 25% off. That then says all the bandwagoners who have hopped on now should stay on the the rough times as loyalty pays off financially. It's not just season-ticket holders though - this idea that everyone else is a bandwagoner certainly doesn't paint the full picture. I used to go to loads of the away games while we were in league one/championship. My last few years where I was living in Leicester I have had a season ticket but I've been living in London for about 5 years now and don't get a look in for tickets. I've still managed to get to a few games each season over the past few years but they are all in other people's names or sitting with the home side at the away games etc. so probably no points left to my name on my account. I'm sure I'm not the only one in a similar situation. Could never afford to get back to Leicester enough to justify having a season ticket so I've just been squeezed out of getting a ticket to any games full stop. I'd gladly pay a vastly inflated price for the odd game if I could get a ticket. Therein lies the problem. Demand is significantly higher than supply. Reducing season ticket prices would only make that problem worse. Short of expanding the stadium it's a problem that does not have an easy solution.
LJS Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Got a letter through this morning telling me I need to move because of UEFA requiring that we expand the TV gantry. Knew it was coming but still a pain in the arse.
NeilLCFC Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 This is a shame. I was hoping prices would go up so it might have made it easier for me to get a ST!
