I'd naturally be disappointed to lose them to anyone but at least with a Barcelona or Real Madrid you could accept it's a genuine powerhouse of world football. Arsenal ambitions stretch as far as qualifying for the Champions League, and for me both players are better than that. We've managed that with a fraction of their budget. Exactly how I feel Dan. I could stomach any of them leaving for the powerhouses. I'd HATE any of them going to fookin Arsenal! I would imagine going to live on the outskirts of Madrid, in the Spanish climate, to be paid a fortune and to play in front of huge home attendances must be dreamy...or Barcelona. But to be scratching about season in, season out for champs league qualification is no 'progress' in my eyes. Kante is the one....we need to keep him if at all possible.

Wenger tells him everything that goes on at Arsenal, but asks him not to repeat it. Henry thinks it better to disclose all Wenger's secrets on Sky TV. Wenger keeps telling him things he doesn't want repeating! It's not a secret that clubs the size of Arsenal are going to be interested in quality players. It's not meant to be secretive that they're interested in 2 of our players specifically and not half a dozen.

Arsenal aren't particularly keen on paying more than £100k a week for players, I'd rather us not spend money like that on wages but if we means we keep hold of our key players then it's ok. They do always qualify for the group stage, they normally get out of the group stage but promptly get knocked out by Bayern or Barca. If any of players leave to Arsenal then that's fair enough but I'd certainly question their ambition if they did.

ScouseFox Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 The fact they always qualify for the CL and will pay bigger wages will be enough for most players playing for teams like ours. next summer that's cool. go for it. the whole squad and manager will leave next summer and it'll just be us lot an andy king left. that's sweet not arsed. but to leave this summer would be shit. we're going to win the league, be champions, get straight into a higher pot of the champions league than arsenal, wembley for the community shield, playing for fans they love a manager they all seem to trust and get on with in a set up they all know suits them with what appear to be most of their best mates. one more year of that, one final challenge of european football and then go. it's not like anybody wanting to buy them this summer is going to forget about them in 6 months time. think it would be sheer greed to leave this summer, there's only one thing anyone could offer that we can't and that's money.

I think in some ways I'd actually be more annoyed to lose them to Arsenal than I would Manchester United or Chelsea. Arsenal's ambition stretches as far as what they're doing now (proven by years of sticking by Wenger doing this), Chelsea & Man Utd wouldn't take that in my opinion, they're more ambitious.

nobby.bk Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 No one is indispensable. Last season the club lost Pearson and Cambiasso and many people thought it was the end of the journey for LCFC. Instead, it has turned out to be an amazing season for the club and the fans.

Even heard that the coaches do not have to do much on the training field because they go through routines on their own and even willing to do extra sessions. Would it be like that at Arsenal. Mahrez: Hey Theo me and Kante are going to the gym to work out for Saturdays game against Spurs fancy joining us. Theo: 'No I'd rather have a night in with a bottle and a kebab' At least at Leicester they get healthy stuff like.....pizzas?
