Cold Pies at the King Power

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else experienced purchasing a pie only for it to be lukewarm at best? I complained to no avail yesterday when I pointed out that my steak and kidney pie wasn't hot only to be given a hot chicken-balti pie I didn't want to be eventually replaced by another lukewarm steak and kidney pie.

Bearing in mind the cost and our status in football you'd think they could get this right after all we're not some mediocre set up in non-league football!!

I think the main problem here is you not wanting a Balti Pie...

But in all seriousness... yes they do get pretty cold, usually if you get there early they're fine but getting near to kick off I wouldn't recommend them.

Yeah my steak & kidney wasn't too warm this week. It's really indifferent; sometimes they can be really warm.

That, my friend, has nothing to do with serving up cold pies. Perhaps it portrays the food you like to eat!!

Beer queues are ridiculous.

One person to pour and take money. Surely this is a two person job?

Sunderland away this season I was queuing for, literally, about 50 minutes. No joke.

I never buy food from inside the concourses. Incredibly slow service for overpriced, sub-standard food. The local farm burger vans outside are pretty decent, but obvs they don't sell pies.

Really? There were hardly any queues and it was easy to get served
