john ridley Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Been reported that Drinky will just have a one match ban ,but Huth also being looked at.
AyewJoking Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 huth pulling 118's hair should be a yellow card fellaini elbowing to the face twice should be a red card + 3 match ban
crisp packet Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 http://realsport101.com/breaking-news-no-further-action-to-be-taken-against-danny-drinkwater/ Not a great source but ....?
lgfualol Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Been reported that Drinky will just have a one match ban ,but Huth also being looked at. Would have been ridiculous if he received a further ban for reaction that you would see from every player that is sent off from two weak yellow cards.
dylanlegend Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Never mind boys we could be champions tonight!! After being favourites for relegation. Nobody will mention these challenges when they look back at the "Foxes of 2016"
leftbackinthechangingroom Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Vardy to the left of drinky to the right here i am stuck in the middle with huth....I'll get my coat . As has been previously said 2 different refs so interpretation is different.
Kendal Fox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Think I share the sentiment of those that are arguing that it's not just the inconsistency of the way the rules have been applied concerning us, but more so the timing of these decisions. Why now, going down the stretch, when we also have a handy points margin? Also, am I the only one who is a little frustrated/disappointed that not only could we have had the title wrapped up by now, we would have had a very good chance of pulling away and ending the season with a whopping margin? Granted, I'd take us winning it by a point if the worst came to worst but that's not the point. It could and probably should have been over by now, with the last few games a chance for Vardy to go for the golden boot and the club and fans time to soak it all in, sit back and marvel.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 The ref wasn't even that bad yesterday and a draw was a fair result. Don't see why people are moaning tbh
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 i dont think anyone expects the fa to intervene after seeing these pics on foxestalk. i do think this is a fans forum where we can discuss/debate things that happen in the games. I can't wait to discuss every incident then, perhaps we should get a referee sub forum.
AyewJoking Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I can't wait to discuss every incident then, perhaps we should get a referee sub forum. perhaps, like i say, its a fans forum for fans to discuss things
Vacamion Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 We're about to win the league and all some of you can do is whinge. Jeebus.
Detroit Blues Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 http://realsport101.com/breaking-news-no-further-action-to-be-taken-against-danny-drinkwater/ Not a great source but ....? I see it all over the internet now: http://www.espnfc.us/leicester-city/story/2863275/leicesters-danny-drinkwater-to-face-no-action-over-red-card-reaction
Dan Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 The fact people are using different refs as an excuse for this shite sums up exactly what's wrong with refereeing. The referee should be there to apply the rules, not make his own.
Matt Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Hang on "They were different refs"...If it's a foul it's a foul, and people were adament Vardy's wasn't a foul, but yet they're coming up with the argument "They were different refs"?! Personally, I think it was a foul just like I thought Vardy's, I don't think it was a 2nd yellow and the referee didn't give it in the box but in terms of the debate of was it/wasn't it, I don't think it was.
ScouseFox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Dermot Gallagher wasn't reffing either game. What do these threads actually prove? Put a photo of Simpson against Lingaard next to those. Put up some photos of the dozen or so times Huth's got away with elbowing players this season. Sometimes decisions go your way, sometimes they don't. All this playing the victim is a bit pathetic tbh. doesn't that further go against your point? simpson on lingard and drinkwater on depay were basically the same. if anything simpson makes more contact. ref gives one as a foul and sends him off, completely ignores the other? inconsistency as mental as that is going to piss people off isn't it? i've always backed oliver as a good ref but i think he bottled it a bit yesterday. i think he got the simpson one spot on, it was never a foul. but if he thinks the drinkwater one is a foul then he's bottled sending simpson off, because that's a foul too. and he's last man and has to go. but he didn't give it, why? and if he gives the drinkwater foul what on earth is he doing giving a free kick when it is clearly in the box?! don't think he changed the game much (bar a debatable penalty to us but don't think many refs would've given it) but some of his decisions compared to some of his other decisions were baffling.
