LaCiudad Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 One rule for some, a different rule for others. This image from twitter...
Mark_w Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 There was different refs in different games. On SSN Dermot Gallagher thought Vardy's was a dive not a penalty, and that Drinkwater's was a foul and a penalty.
Bryn Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Vardy a victim of reputation and of Jon Moss' desire to affect the outcome. Oliver got a few calls wrong but I think tried to ref the game as he thought was right and I don't think he dramatically altered the outcome of the game.
Koke Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Different refs, different games. Let's not dwell on this and move on.
RowlattsFox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 The distance between drinkwater and depay make it more of a foul for me. You can get away with it when shoulder to shoulder.,
johnny the fox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 One rule for some, a different rule for others. This image from twitter... You still can't see the grassy knoll..
Webbo Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 On SSN Dermot Gallagher thought Vardy's was a dive not a penalty, and that Drinkwater's was a foul and a penalty. Dermot Gallagher wasn't reffing either game. What do these threads actually prove? Put a photo of Simpson against Lingaard next to those. Put up some photos of the dozen or so times Huth's got away with elbowing players this season. Sometimes decisions go your way, sometimes they don't. All this playing the victim is a bit pathetic tbh.
WigstonWanderer Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 The distance between drinkwater and depay make it more of a foul for me. You can get away with it when shoulder to shoulder., Pretty much arms length in both cases, just a difference of perspective wrt the photos
Bryn Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 It's entirely topical on a Leicester forum. It's a travesty that we've had two players suspended due to inconsistent application of the rules at such a critical team. Thankfully it doesn't appear we will pay for it. But it needs to change.
The Guvnor Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 On SSN Dermot Gallagher thought Vardy's was a dive not a penalty, and that Drinkwater's was a foul and a penalty. Dermot is a Man Utd fan, just saying.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 None of this matters, all in the past. Enjoy the present and celebrate what the future holds for us all. We are the lucky ones, this is happening on our watch, Premier League Champions 2015-2016.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I thought this was going to be pictures of their reactions after being sent off.

Jimothy Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I thought it was new lyrics to Stuck In The Middle With You by Stealers Wheel.

All this playing the victim is a bit pathetic tbh. I stayed off Foxestalk yesterday & watched the game with the missus. I thought it was a penalty when Mahrez went down. I thought Lingard went down easy. I laughed at Huth & Fellaini's tussle. I had no complaints when Drinkwater went off & thought we were fortunate to not have a penalty awarded against us. Rooney was Rooney. You win some, you lose some. I saw decisions go for us & against us. The result seemed fair. It was only when I came on here & read the post match thread. I'm actually amazed. Moss was shit & Oliver wasn't. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Please can we stop bringing up different players, different situations, different referees. Yes it's not fair but the FA are not going to reconsider because a group of fans keep putting pictures on a football forum.

stevelcfc Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 The difference is one is perceived to be out of the area and the other is in. As we all know a foul outside the area is so much easier to win/give than a potentially game changing one inside. The level of inconsistency between refs and games but also from decision to decision within a game in infuriating and is worse than making the wrong call.
AyewJoking Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 vardy is involved in a "tussle" with the defender so its harder to call. drinky gets a hand on depay who is already away from him. answer me this: would you rather concede a pen and lose 2-1 or yellow and ban for drinky, get a point?

Yes it's not fair but the FA are not going to reconsider because a group of fans keep putting pictures on a football forum. i dont think anyone expects the fa to intervene after seeing these pics on foxestalk. i do think this is a fans forum where we can discuss/debate things that happen in the games.
Filbert_Ross Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 . vardy is involved in a "tussle" with the defender so its harder to call. drinky gets a hand on depay who is already away from him. answer me this: would you rather concede a pen and lose 2-1 or yellow and ban for drinky, get a point? No brainer. Get a point.
AyewJoking Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 . No brainer. Get a point. in this situation, we need to beat everton without a key player in drinkwater. a point at utd just means spurs have to win tonight (of course if they dont, the everton game doesnt matter) I'd rather have a full strength team vs everton in the event spurs do get the win tonight.
