Do you seriously think we could get Coquelin off the gunners? Honestly...I think we've got a chance. Stick a £15m bid in there or a season long loan, Arsene is stupid enough to accept it. They've got so many options in CM eventually Coquelin will be frozen out.
Guest Posted 15 August 2016 Posted 15 August 2016 I just hope we make 5 or 6 more purchases now, in this window, whilst we can still entice players with the chance of being in the CL squad. It's quite possible that we won't have any european carrot to entice them with for the foreseeable future and go back to being the club players turn down.

foxes21 Posted 15 August 2016 Posted 15 August 2016 Danny Ings played for the Liverpool U23's the other day. Klopp has mentioned him in the same breathe as Benteke & Balotelli, so he could be on his way out. With our medical team, I'm sure we'd be able to keep him fit.

bpfox Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 just watching all the signings going on at all the other clubs , i get the feeling we are done and dusted for this window. for the life of me i cant work out why we have been so slow and poor in bringing in decent players since we have the funds, can see the arsenal game been very bad for us, may see players lining up to leave after this one.

Zieler is better than Kasper. Mendy is better than King, maybe better than Amartey. He's no Kante, but no one is, get over it. Hernandez isn't necessarily better than Simpson or Huth (too early to tell) but is a different type of player and a top class option to have. Kapi is one for the future, obviously.
